How do you guys react after the rockets lose?

Hate to say it but I let it get to me, BIG time. It affects the rest of my day. But on the other hand, when they win, it makes the rest of my day AWESOME.

I also tend to not want to talk to anyone and I usually avoid facebook and twitter since I'm from LA and everyone likes to get on me for being a rocket fan here.

How about you guys? Any crying in the fetal position? Any fists flying through walls?

Pull out my eyelashes one at a time with a mixture of soap and cayenne pepper on my fingers.

    Me? I smoke a bowl.

If they win, OTOH, I smoke a victory bowl...much more satisfying.

It stings less each time. It would ruin my night, every loss, until Game 7 in the 2007 series against the Jazz. We had a prime T-Mac and Yao in the playoffs together, with a solid group around them. That loss, when we were so damn close, sucked some life out of me.

    Ugh.

Yeah, I felt ya. I felt the same same thing. I thought Rockets had the great chance to win that game. I was in total disbelief. I remembered I was very sad after that game. How were the Jazz able to beat two superstars and great supporting casts? I don't get it. I hope Rockets win championship soon so I can get over with those shocking moments.

Decide what the variables were that went into the loss, make up my own mind about what the Rockets should do, refrain from getting into it on the internet, and then go on living my life and impatiently await the next game just so I can watch my Rockets again.

This is how I know we've reached mediocrity. I am expecting the losses against the better teams and it doesn't sting as much anymore. Don't get upset over it. Just enjoy when they pull off a miracle and enjoy watching the game when they are playing less than championship level teams.
