    Didn't see this posted yet...

Morris seems a bit sullen about this but I believe he'll be all the better after all this. Can't really blame him when he sees his brother is already playing good minutes. He's learning on the fly and when he is on the floor people complain that he looks lost. A stint in the D-League should let him experiment and adjust his game as a SF.

Thing is this'll probably lower his chances of becoming ROY. (jab at Cxbby)

It's hard to gauge where he is really at - he's bricked a few shots in junk time, but it's the age old problem with the rockets roster.

It's deep with NBA- level talent, but devoid of elite level talent to be a real contender.

I'd be worried if he wasn't at least a little upset.

He has to be offended because that shows he has 'confidents' in his talents

I wonder who is the best player to ever spend time in the Dleague, I am thinking Aaron Brooks might be the most successful out of everyone that played there...with his MIP season.

Sure he fell off, but that was due to injury.....who else has come from Dleague time and done really well?

I'm not sure how you define success....I'd say Chuck Hayes would be an example of someone that spent time in the D-League and has done very well. He's flourished in the NBA, after improving each year that he's been brought up from the NBDL.

People only hate going to the D leauge because of the stigma that it carries. but, it really shouldn't carry one. At least not for the Rockets. They've show over and over that their D league is a place to get back to game speed, getting experience under NBA-like circumstances, and even a place to just give you a shot.

Lebron and Melo would whine only because of their egos. Egos =/= Ambition. Just cause I'm working close to minimum wage now doesn't mean I don't have ambition to become wealthy. You take what your given and do something with it, which I think Morris will do.

Carl Herrera needs to write a disclaimer with these type of posts.

It sucks, but you bring up a fair point with this DD. I think this really lets us know where Marcus is at with his game for a NBA-level SF. The Rockets could have just as easily sent down Parsons, but Marcus got the hook.

Let's hope he is the exception to players sent down and puts things together quickly.

Bad move IMO. He needs to be playing for this team now.

He had a 20 point outing in the 2nd....which is a good precursor

The reality is that there are 13 players that could actually play, but obviously not enough PT to go around.
