    And brooks was drafted way later.. And had kobe comparisons before the draft.

    I don't think he will be Kobe successful and talented of course
    but well it is a win for him just to come close to win one ring! That should be his goal.

    you sir are an idiot... no where in there did I say that he is as good as Kobe... lol... we need to make a section for the slower kids... no kids left behind.

    This kid has looked solid so far. Already the Nets' best SG (although that's not saying much). His game is very smooth for a rookie, and he plays confidently on the court. On such a shallow Nets team, he's gonna get his stats and playing time. Definitely reminds me of Kobe, although less explosive. 22-year-old Marshon is the 31-year-old Kobe.

    He does looks like Kobe. I watched some of the New Jersey and Atlanta game. He is very athletic and he actually got a nice block on T-mac. He got a long reach and very explosive.

    31 year old Kobe is still hell of a lot more explosive than Marshon. Maybe 35 or 36 year old Kobe.
