This. It's obvious that Pierre is the spark, and the biggest offensive weapon we have. At the same time, not a game goes by that he doesn't string together 2-3 awful decisions in a row. I often find myself thinking he needs to cool his jets. Fortunately, that hasn't been the case when the game is on the line.

Huge win for the Bears last night. Loved the rebounding. Loved seeing how Drew called plays to neutralize Sidney early. It was obvious we had no answer for that guy defensively. If PJ3 could get a bit more physical (ala Acy shouldering his way to the hole) the front court might actually catch up with our backcourt dominance.

Baylor moves up to #4. Ya buddy.

Conference play starts tonight at 6 on ESPN U against the Ags. Hopefully, we'll beat them for the third or fourth straight time :)

Sloppy win. Still trying to figure out how aggy was picked to win the conference. They are terrible. Loved the big 12 chant.

Looking forward to driving up to Waco for one hell of a game come Jan. 21. Would be amazing if both BU and MU stay unbeaten...

Missouri is the only team that scares me in the Big 12. I would be content with a split.

I think those games will be fascinating in the sense that both teams are polar opposites in how they're built. Not that either is bad in any area, but Mizzou's biggest strength is the all-around guard play and spreading teams out, while Baylor's top attribute seems to be the ridiculous length on defense.

My guess is that those games come down to which team establishes tempo, which likely means a split with the home team winning each. Both should be great to watch, though.

Mizzou is also much more cohesive. If they aren't flustered by Baylor's length, I give Mizzou the clear advantage. If PJ3 doesn't show up big, it won't be a contest.

Idk about that. Baylor's defense will keep them in most games and we've shown that we can win in a variety of ways.

Baylor hasn't played a team as good as Mizzou. Stiffer competition won't allow a sloppy win.

Hello Friends! I little birdie told me you were asking for me (again), so here I am to enhance your crappy thread.

I wasn't able to catch the game the other night, but I noticed you only won by 9 points. What's wrong? EVERYONE knows that A&M is in shambles. I think it's the coaching situation personally. Kennendy needs to SHAKE things up! But that's another story...

Congratulations on the win though. Oh, and Congrats also on the Heisman! (And the 55-28 BEATDOWN we gave you, but that's still another story)

I'll be around, lurking, watching, and waiting for Scott Drew to screw this up for you. It will absolutely happen, and when it does, the absolute INSTANT that it does, before I crap, eat, or make love to my super model girlfriend, I will be here to remind you of it.

Happy New Year! I'll check back from time to time...

    -Hank

We really should be ashamed to have lost to your "juggernaut" of a football team on your home field. Oh well, if your team had been worth a darn the rest of the year, we'd probably have ended up ranked higher by the voters than we already are. As to the basketball, I think we'll do all right, but we appreciate your concern.

It was more fun when Hank didn't sound so pathetic and wasn't completely embarrassing himself.

Oh wait...that has always been the case.

Haven't seen/followed Baylor this year, but always thought Quincy Miller was a good prospect.

I don't see him on any mock draft's. Is he not declaring?

He hasn't declared yet, no. Most people assume he will, but most people assumed PJIII would too. Wouldn't be surprised if he came back for another year to play with Austin. I think that will depend on whether or not he starts to come on strong later this year.

Is there anyone else who would like to see more Cory Jefferson? He still looks raw offensively considering he's a redshirt sophmore, but I still like what I see more often than not. Seems like a waste considering how physically talented he clearly is. Not to mention the fact that he might be the best shot blocker on the team. Our front court is stacked, but he's a kid I really would not want to see transfer. Maybe Drew is envisioning him next to Austin.
