We cannot continue to play these 3 players together

There is no doubt in any serious basketball fan's mind that we can continue to start Bud, Scola, and Martin at the same time. No one team can overcome the poor defense on display by these 3. Out rebounded/hustled, easily pick n rolled, give and go, one on one getting backed down in the paint like a little kid, and rotation on D is slow and ackward.

Watching the Rockets knowing they can't get a stop when it's needed over the last 3 or 4 seasons is horrible feeling as a fan.

Someone on 610 actually thinks the Rockets can go 36-30 with this non Defensive squad. Stop it!!!! Sideeyes:rolleyes:

    McHale is a moron.
Kevin and Budinger taking turns getting schooled by Kobe in the post and he leaves T-Will, the second best defender on the team, on the bench. Good call McHale!

We cannot continue to play those 3 players together and expect to win to any degree of significance. We can continue to play those 3 together and go to the l-o-t-t-e-r-y.

No one on the Rockets is soft...You try playing these so-called superstar teams with the refs and David Stern on their side. You would look soft also. I'm sure it's tiring for the Rockets to deal with this S--t.. :)

To be honest, both Bud and Martin's defense has improved. I thought Chase did a decent job on Kobe, the problem is that Kobe was being Kobe. Neither one is in Courtney Lee's universe on defense but I have been pleasantly surprised with what I have seen from those two. Scola on the other hand ...

Martin or Scola have to go. To little defense from either and they have the highest value.

If we can get an Iggy I'd do it. We need defense because Lowry can facilitate with the best of them.

Scola is slow. You can't teach him fast.
Bud and Martin on the other hand... NO EXCUSE.
They both need to bulk up they are getting manhandled.

How exactly are we going to draft Harrison Barnes? The team isn't bad enough to do that.....

Parsons looks like he will be a decent defender at this level. Motiejuans led the euroleague in rebounding this year. In any case, at least give them a chance. I don't see why you are labeling them soft other than the fact that they are white.

Kyle Lowry leads the Rockets in rebounding( The Damn PG)

    Gasol, Lee > Martin, Scola.

Would have solved a lot of the problems you are bringing up.

I get tired of all this knee-jerk crap after EVERY SINGLE LOSS. Teams lose games, we're not going to win every game. S-hit happens.

I thought Bud played pretty good defense, and a good overall game. Martin, however...
