Interesting. Doesn't necessarily say he left Houston. What if he leaves then doesn't even get a job offer. I bet he will stay unless something better comes up. But who knows.

Great find though, thanks. I hope it is not true. Stewart did a real nice job for the defense. They are a lot better than what all the "outsiders" think.

    Per Mark Berman:

Bryant was previously a DC at Vanderbilt and apparently didn't do a particularly good job.

ST coach promoted to HC. LB coach promoted to DC. An early report from Matt Jackson had the RB coach being promoted to OC but that's yet to be seen. The new OL coach was formerly on staff as assistant OL coach.

I just wonder how much you can promote from within and expect to stay at the same level.

Nice pay out. That Penn St Qb really stunk it up. He was so bad I was almost rooting for him to complete a pass. Fish in a Barrell. Easy money.

Well, the rumor was that McKinney was going to be promoted to OC once Kingsbury and Phillips left. Since he made a lateral move instead of supposedly taking a promotion, maybe that's a sign that Phillips isn't leaving after all. All the coaches that were rumored to be leaving have left already except for Phillips. Of course, the rumor was that he was going to join June Jone's staff at SMU and they haven't played their bowl game yet so maybe that's the reason for the hold up.

    So much for continuity.

agreed, it isn't looking too well...Our D still needs to improve and there has to be some continuity in offense to continue the show...I am a little concerned about what's left in the coaching staff...
