Definitely Detroit. Ever since they wasted their 'max star' cap space on Charlie Villanueva and Ben Gordon. Their drafting since then hasn't been wonderful either. Once they manage to get rid of those guys (both expire at the end of 2014) then they'll be in a place to do something smarter - on the positive side they ought to have picked up some more high draft picks to accompany their cap space (what they do with the picks + the space though....)
Detroit continues to baffle me. Here is a team that needs to tank more than anyone. They have Greg Monroe and Brandon Knight, but the rest of the team is either old or garbage. Gordon, Villanueva, Stuckey, and Prince all got signed longterm. That is not a core that can win! They're guaranteed to be getting mid-lottery picks over and over. I don't see an end in sight. They keep signing veterans instead of rebuilding.
Great choice--once Nash is gone, they have nothing. But that means they can lose and get a top pick once they finally get rid of Nash. The problem is that management is awful and probably will let Nash keep the team in the late lottery until he retires. And the owner won't pay for a real winner.
