Sacramento has a mess on its hands. They lack a true PG, they have a motley collection of young-dumb-and-full-of-c** players. They do need more of a veteran presence to steady them; Chuck was a step in the right direction but he can't do it alone.

Naturally I'm all for the Kings sending us DeMarcus, but if teams like Detroit actually have interest, why wouldn't the two teams swap Cousins and, uh, uh, that dude from Georgetown....uh...Greg Monroe?

Because Detroit would not offer Monroe.

Cousins' statement was sent to media through his agent, John Greig. Clearly this isn't water under the bridge in their eyes.

The most important statement DeMarcus Cousins needs to make is simply this: Go to work and be a pro. That's all. Be a pro.

Westphal was the one who sent out the press release.

It was peculiar because Petrie runs his front office like the Spurs, all hush hush.

Several teams called Kings on DeMarcus Cousins today, and all told same thing: Not available. No way Kings give up so fast. Too talented.

The Kings are just trying to add value to THIER damaged goods. I really hope we can get this kid; watching him / them grow-up over the years would be so much fun.

Which is why we would have to give up Lowry to get Cousins, plus a big (probably JHill, or Dalembert at the deadline). Maybe you do that deal if you know Deron is waiting in the wings.

F**k that. Lowry is having a fantasic season. He's having an all-star season. If there was an untouchable player on this team, he would be it.

The fact that so many people on this board are actually willing to deal with Cousins (and trade our best player for him!) is depressing to me. You think T-Will is bad? At least he will pout and sulk quietly on the bench. Cousins is the definition of cancer to a team and I would never take a chance on this guy if I were running an organization. Let Sacramento deal with his nonsense and if he shows a SIGNIFICANT sign of maturing consistently in the future, consider working a way to bring him here. Other than that, no thank you.

yeah lets give up our best player for an unproven self centered thug who will just fight all his coaches.
