I dont know why people on this board overrate this guy. He is a chucker like Westbrick, he is a good defender like Westbrook, but has low bbiq on the offense end( he seems more suited for a 2-guard than a PG). It seems like he is always looking to score. I think a guy a like Luke Ridnoiur or Ish Smith would be a perfect backup for Lowry

The less athletic Westbrick, but yea that's a fairly accurate comparison. Score first, pass second.

Whatever. Goran's a decent backup PG. He's fine.

We need scoring off the bench and he is a capable scorer. When he gets going he is fun to watch. Ask the spurs if he is a capable scorer. Check his stats from last year- triple double last game.

4 games in and here we go..... This makes me not want to even check the site much anymore. Too many pointless threads being started these days.

Westbrook gets triple doubles too, doesnt mean he is an effiecent player

Westbrook is more athletic, and slighty qicker(but thats it). They play just alike

We need to go after Ridinour or bring back Ish Smith ( trade Dragic and Flynn(

Goran is like any other young player... inconsistent.
Not worried about him though. One of the better backups in the league.
The best would probably be Andre Miller. Wonder if we could trade for him. He would bring stability to the 2nd unit and bring veteran presence to the youngsters.
He is on his last year of contract. I would definitely be interested in him next year if we want to make a serious push toward being contenders.

IMO, his game is more like a homeless ginobili to me, but I agree with what you're saying. He's a scorer.

He is a back up who is suppose to bring scoring off the bench. He is consistently playing with Scola and Martin on the court to give the ball to.

There's a major difference between a starting PG looking to score first, and a backup PG looking to score first.

I have no problem with Dragic trying to score points off the bench.

That wouldn't be a bad idea at all.

Random trade I just thought of

Scola, Bud, and Dragic for Miller, Gallinari, Mozgov, Den 2012 1st rd pick (lotto-protected), and 2013 GS 2nd rd pick.

That would also give us so much more flexibility for the 2012 FA than we would have had before.

I love how our PG rotation is now. Best position on the team by far. If it came down to re-signing Dragic for the MLE next year, I would do it.

Luis Scola is like Kobe Bryant.

They both shoot free throws, score points, and rebound.

    They even both assist.

    They also have hair.

    And are humans.
