What an incredible turnaround. Three guys bumble around and can't fall on a fumble and Penn State throws a long TD the very next play.

I think it's between Piland and Kolhausen for now.

I would simply say SCOREBOARD. If I thought you actually went to Rice.

But I think Rice graduate is part of your "I'm wealthy!" internet character. Enjoy the new year from your trailer.

I love what the new coach was saying after the game.

Paraphrasing, "The 1 (loss) was a fluke, not the 12 (wins)."

Well, at least it settles it for me; the Sumlin distraction was the reason for the S.Miss loss which means Texas A&M and Sumlin cost the University of Houston 17 million dollars and ruined a perfect season. Even worse than Briles stealing RGIII. Really ticks me off how coaches' career building is at the expense of their schools and players. NCAA should have rules preventing disasters like these.

I watched UH all year, every game, today was like all but one game, an amazing offensive team. The one game, they looked like another team. I suspected why, now I know.

That is ANY team. People cannot have it both ways. Which is it, are Case and Kolb really good, or is the system really good? If Case is really good then he deserves more respect. If it is the system then I do not want to hear out UH is screwed.

They finished 13-1, and if not for Sumlin not preparing but playing footsies they would be 14-0. Case dropped almost 550 yards on Big X defense that is supposed to be really good.

    Whatever...

It all has to do with timing. With Signing day a couple of weeks away, schools need to replace their coaches quickly. Maybe the NCAA can put a moratorium on hiring and contacting new coaches and push back signing day to compensate.

    550 yds on a top 5 defense...simply unbelievable

Good luck in the NFL, Case

The Cougars rolled on Penn St. Like Liam Neeson rolled Justine Bateman in the movie satisfaction. We shredded a top pass defense. Next year, we take the BCS by storm.

    20k for Case Keenum. Sick!

The most puzzling thing about this game was why anyone would need one of those forever lazy's ( the new snuggie ) for a "great escape" is beyond me, WTF? Escaping from what, his freakshow family who forced him to wear it ( see the living room scene in the commercial or the occasional prison break.

Until UH becomes really consistent, which is hard to do when your coach leaves every 4 years, it's going to be a question. UH is just now getting good after being bad after a long time. So it's still a question whether they can replace star players. The teams that are good and stay good are the ones that always have someone in the system who's ready to step up when the best players leave. I don't know if UH is there yet. I hope they are but that's the kind of thing you need to see played out on the field.

FWIW, I give more credence to Kolb and Case than the system (though throwing the ball 70 times helps) and I do think Case deserves more credit.

Amazing win by the coogs. I think, all the haters have to at least give Keenum some props for lighting up a top defense.

The University of Houston wouldn't have received anywhere near $17 million dollars for going to a BCS game. The fact that so many fans still think their school gets cut a check for this much money when they go to a bowl game amazes me.
