That and rebound. And getting fouled. And stealing the ball, too. So basically, he is upping his field goal percentage by 0.080 from being a pretty efficient scorer, that rebounds, steals, and gets the occasional block. Jordan Hill has raised his FG% by that much so far this season....
Back on the Hill Bandwagon??????? after . . . 15 rebounds - most of which fell into his 6'11" lap after Hawks - brick-show . . . Maybe he will develop - I am skeptical - He just does not have a natural b-ball sense, flow and touch around the basket. Maybe he'll continue to put in the hours to improve - But to get DC - throw in Hill - the rest of the 2009 Lotto bunch, 5 1st round picks and a vintage Stretch Armstrong doll and let's get a deal done. . .
15 rebounds fell into his lap wow. Great analysis, Hill is extremely raw but he is a excellent rebounder. His rebounding is not a fluke. Mchale is very high on Hill and is always praising his work ethic. Btw I would be willing to include Hill in a Cousins trade. I would also be willing to include Pattersom in a cousins trade. Many Clutch fans are against trading Patterson but I disagree because we are stacked at the 4 with Hill, D Mo next year, Marcus Morris, Pat and Scola.
Thats a tough one. I think they would say yes, but i think thats a lot from us. maybe we can throw in thabeet for more cap space. If they would wan't us to trade more the deal should be off. if we trade lowry and others then we better be getting jimmer as well. Which sounds like a crazy ass trade that would never happen lol.
We should trade for Cousins , he has size man , that's what we need. Also : * 21 years old * Headcase ( McHale is here with his skills of coaching big man ) * We have some **** pieces , definitely should send away ( T-Will , Flynn , Thabeet ) * NY pick * His dunk in Rookie All-Star game with 270 lbs Morey , get his ass to Houston man.
Why are people so eager to get this guy, he's possibly one of the most immature guys ever and pair him with Twill in one locker room is guaranteed trouble.
Agreed, check my earlier post in this thread. I just try to look at things with eyes wide open without letting things cloud my perspective. From what I've seen and read, headcases usually succeed when they're in a strong winning culture, or are lead by strong leaders (ex: MJ, Phil jackson, Chancey Billups etc.) The only concern I have is that all the headcases that I've seen pan out usually aren't the team's best player or the leader (I don't know if I'd call Kobe a headcase). The Rockets have a strong collective coaching staff and Lowry is an excellent leader, and Lowry would also still be the team's best player. We're also a more successful culture (mediocrity isn't much, but it's still better than terrible) than Sacramento, as well as a better offense as a team/system. With all that said, I would take the chance as well. This is all hearsay though until we see the kings say he's on the market officially. They might also fire Westphal and try a new coach before they let him go too, unless he makes himself totally unbearable.
You get Cousins because he's going to be a beast, but not only because of that. In a couple of years, John Wall and him are going to want to reunite and do the super-friends experience all over again. If you have Cousins on your team and trade for Bledsoe, you'll get Wall in the FA. And i'm talking significantly down the road, in 5 years from now, when they (Cousins and Wall) will be at the peak of their career. Keep Patterson somehow and he'll be the Shane Battier of that team.
I don't think Sac would be interested in kmart anyway. I am not a tanker, I believe it is immoral and unsportsmanlike to throw games. But I do think we need to go into rebuild mode. I think we get more from Scola and Kmart in picks from other teams, but if you are going to go after Cousins, this is what I'd be williing to offer up. Otherwise I say don't do the deal.
Coach Mac - praised Hill cuz he sucked less than he thought and was willing to listen and work hard - not cuz he is very high on him. I'm not dissing the guys effort, work ethic, or attitude - just sayin' - I have seen a fairly sizable body of work and in a best case scenario he is 2 years away from being an efficient NBA rotation big man. I just personally don't see him as a starter on a contender, Ever. I'll give you the 15 boards in 28 mins vs. Hawks - But i'm jaded from seeing him in Multiple games the last 2 season where he gets one hand on a ball and always seems a step away or a second late. His touch around the basket is awful. (I know coach Mac is working with him and I hope it improves) Plus He Twitters nonsense - and that bugs me too !!!!
