That may be it because he and Thornton take all the shots. I forgot a few names to mention: Casspi, Landry, Dalembert. They wanted to leave as well.
Based on how much Clutchfans analyzes and criticizes T-Will's attitude/character, Cousins would be absolutely mauled for his. The guy is a cancer. He's a big baby who will complain, whine and tear apart the locker room if he's not getting his way. He has anger issues, he constantly gets frustrated and lets it affect his play. Yes, he has excellent skills/ability for his size. But will he ever realize it? Probably not. He has the "AAU big man" syndrome, where he'd prefer to shoot bad jumpers and take guys off the dribble that he could easily handle in the post. This is shown by his 32% fg. Keep him far away.
See: Evans comma Ty-re-eek-ee. And yes, Minny = (seemingly) logical 3rd team. BTW - - who gets Tyreke? Hmm...
Since I've been watching basketball, way back in 1988 I have never seen a center shoot as low as a percentage from the field as Demarco cousins,..period!
Watch a Kings game. They make him shoot 15 ft jumpers all the time instead of feeding the dude in the post regularly.
We sure are. This is what happens when you refuse to rebuild. You are forced to take chances on players with character issues just because they have potential. OK, I've now beaten that dead horse into the ground, so enough.
Is that an excuse for a professional athlete getting paid the amount of money that he gets paid to whine the way he does??
If he didn't have an attitude, he wouldn't be available. And he takes those jumpers because Evans won't ever pass him the ball in the post. EVER!
Don't forget about the spectacular passing of Marxus Thornton, Jimmer, John Salmons and Francisco Garcia
32.1 percent?? name another big man in the history of the game that shot that percentage, he's almost 7 ft. tall!
This. Also, Tyreke is the worst teammate ever. He will dribble the shot clock away then pass it to a teammate with 5 seconds left on the clock. If I recall him and JT combined for... 3 assists in one of there games! Give Cousins the open looks he would get in college and he will strive. Heck even Thabeet can score thanks to Lowry! This is the perfect storm for Morey. Get Sacramento and Minny on the phone and we have the kid by midnight. Also, does anyone still have some contact with Dave Carmichael (Artest's besty), I remember he had an account on here. Maybe he could give us some info on whats really going down over there?
The more I read the new articles about how the king's are saying they won't trade him, I don't think he'll move until mid season or next year. This whole public airing of dirty laundry is making his trade value plummet and there's no way they get fair value for him with all these question marks coming to surface. If I were them I would wait it our until things settle down and see what they can get by the deadline or before next season if he Cousins doesn't change his behavior by then. Not to mention the ticket sales that would be lost during their whole sticky stadium/team moving situation. The only way I see him moving asap is if he does the worst and goes to the game and lays down on the court and refuses to compete. I think it might take many years and a few trades (like trading him to a few bottom dwellers several times) before he eventually matures. Like Odom or Rasheed Wallace or he might never mature like Derrick Coleman or Stephon Marbury.
that's cool, they run a terrible offense, but this guy has been a head-case his entire career, I've followed him, what you want him to be, he won't be, he's like that bad a** B***ch that you met in high school that you was hoping to make your woman, but to bad she was f**ked up, and screwing everybody. he's screwed up mentally.
C'mon, Sam. Don't be so upset just because DeMarcus will once again compete for your minutes. I'm sure the coach will do still play you if he thinks you give him the best chance at winning.
Apparently, the Kings, who have not "refused to rebuild," are also taking chances on players with character issues just because they have potential. Or did the Kings simply choose to take these chances?
