No, not just the Gater. Maybe just the two of us(?), but I was thinking this might be a perfect way to assuage the Owner, the fans and get set-up for PingPongBallMagic - - and some real hope: a stud, a stud maturing (PatPat, y'all were tight, yes, then take the man to raise) + + + cap room to sign one or two good good players.

    Future, here we come!

I don't care about his maturity level. As even if he do not improve one bit from now till the end of his career, he is still better than Hill/Sam/Thabeet can even hope to be. Couple with that he is a willing passer and actually play defense. What else can you hope for more?

He may have character issues and I admit I have not seen him play very much at all; however I did see him play against LA earlier this year and he was very impressive. We know he is good on the boards but he was diving for balls, very emotional and aggressive. I say go for it:

    Lowry
    Lee
    Bud
    Scola/ Cousins
    Dalembert/Cousins

    Pretty legit

The Rockets really have no choice. If they are truly adamant about not tanking, and since super stars prefer more glamorous cities, they have no choice but to place potential over maturity. I don't like it, but I accept it.

Jason Jones: For those curious, teams that have liked Cousins and figure to call the Kings are Houston and Detroit. Kings say they aren't trading Cousins Twitter

I think David stern needs to call the kings and tell them to work out a trade with Houston.

That dbag owes us one. I will take a formal apology in the form of a phone call with direct instructions to trade cousins to Houston.

    I like 21years old, 6'11, 270 lbs apologies lol

I don't like cousins the person. But the player has remarkable talent. Obe of the best young bigs in the game. A lot of bigs are fragile or frail. Like Pau, Aldridge, and so one. Great bigs but thin.

Cousins is legit big. Another year on two. 7ft, 275lbs. That's a big mother F.

And he his a headcase but you can't deny his talents.

I would be willing to accept cousins for the right price.

I feel Scola definitely will be in the deal. Plus picks. And fillers.

I don't see Sam D. Or kmart in the deal or Lowry.

    I could see hill going.

I want cousins but I really want to hold on to Dmo, 2pat, MM, Lowry, SamD, Kmart.

Everyone else is expendable to me. I like Twill. But I can let him go for cousins with Scola and picks same with Bud and Lee. Dragic.

Cousins is legit. And will be a force weather on the rockets or else where.

    You can teach 6'11-7ft 270-280lbs

He has very good low post game.

I would want to play him at Power forward in big packages.

    With Sam D at Center.

I think SamD and Cousins could work out for Houston. It's not Gasol and Nene but definitely a good recovery considering what happened.

And SamD and Cousins are great chips tor future inquiring talent weather trade or FA.

Completely agree. Talented bigs don't go on the market often. When they do...

You try your best to get that player.

We need big men. We are very weak at center.

SamD helps. But we really would be in a good and better position with Cousins.

Even if it cost us, Scola, or Martin, or picks.

On another note. Sorry about my previous post. I don't know why it posted twice. I didn't press it twice.

You think Sac-town isn't going to try to package its bad contracts with this guy? You think they will take on ours?

Don't kid yourself. This guy will make T-Mac look like Mother Theresa.

LOL - the only reason that the Kings are saying they aren't trading Cousins is to prop his value back up. The trade demand significantly cut his value but unless Cousins comes back with a personal appoligy, which I don't think he will, then Cousins has burned that bridge and is out of there as soon as they get a respectable deal.

I can see a package of Flynn, T-Will, Thabeet, Morris, Adrien, couple of picks and maybe Hill or PPat.

    Imagine

    Lowry
    Martin
    Bud
    Scola
    Cousins & Samuel Dalembert

We may have to take on some contracts like Garcia 3 x $5.8mill ( I don't mind )
    John Salmons 4 x $8.5mill, Outlaw 4 x $7mill or Whiteside 3 x $788,000 ( bleh )

As long as we don't give up our core guys for 'potential', and look to keep winning, ,I'm all for it.

T-Will's game will thrive in Sac-Town.

One of our core guys will be gone in this most likely. If Les wants to keep trying to contend, then this is a move we must make.

    Outlaw was amnestied.

And I'd take Salmons' contract because he can actually play and his salary goes down each year and he has a team option in his final year. Good piece for a contending team.

And how would T-will's game thrive in Sac-Town? He wouldn't even touch the ball because of Evans and Thornton. Why do you think Martin and DeMarcus wanted out of there? They have a horrible offense.

    Patterson, Nyk pick and Cbud.

Another scenario is some sort of 3 way deal where we send off Kmart to the Twolves.

I actually like this a lot. Seems kinda fair for all the teams.
