the Lakers are just as much of an enigma as the Rockets at this portion of the season. they are finding their chemistry with their new coach and new teammates, but they have home court on their side and Andrew Bynum back. I'm looking to split the LA games any way possible. can't predict which game they will bring their winning game, but we will get a win in Los Angeles this week.
Another good team coming into Toyota Center. Lakers vs Rockets, great history in this matchup. A true test for our bigs.
Predicting one heartbreaker of a loss. Close but terrible officiating wins over. Dalembert gets in foul trouble, Patterson is tremendous off the bench. Lowry steamrolls Fisher and Blake, takes a nasty cheapshot but soldiers on. In the final seconds, Martin misses a do-or-die shot and it rattles in and out. Err...kind of specific for a prediction but going with my gut instinct.
Throw in hasheem against Bynum. I want to see with my own eyes what he can do in a real season game. Hill gets abused I already know that but see if thabeet can contain him better.
Probably lost. Our interior D is still shoddy. I expect Bynum and Gasol to have big nights. Kobe will put up his usual numbers. I don't think we have the firepower to keep up.
We activate Thabeet and throw 5 warm bodies at the Laker frontline all night. Everything will be FINE.
Will really need lowry to Dominate Fisher/blake to have any chance. The Lakers frontline is probally the best in the leauge while ours struggled with Al Horford. Still remember last years opening LA away game, lost thanks to a game tying three by steve blake with aaron brooks dozing off, never would have happened with Mr. K.Lowry .
Big key is boxing out in the paint! Prevent guys like Bynum and Gasol to grab those offensive boards and I think our chances to grab a win are pretty high.
Better start Dalembert, glad we had some practice so he can learn the offensive sets more because we need him against LA (both Lakers and Clippers') bigs. I see us losing this and also against LAC, we are simply too small to compete.
Want to see scola, Martin and dragon play ferociously trying to prove Morey wrong. But Rockets typically have a hard time against two skilled 7-footers. patterson and dalembert's D will be crucial.
