A lot of teams want Kevin Martin, Scola, and Hill. Patterson and Lowry and now Dalembert too. Theyre great players and not overpriced. Seriously, u act like the rockets are the washington wizards...they have a better team than Sacremento right now still. Do you realise how much 1 rocket player above could boost a playoff contending team's chances if dallas or miami got martin or dalembert or scola for that matter? or even lowry...not sayin that lowry is tradable but under the right circumstances they're all great trade assets

Exactly. We just beat the Spurs and the Hawks. Rockets will end a playoff level team by most Eastern conference teams standards. Cousins probably wouldnt even start on this team currently.

If you are gonna talk about Cousins at least dont overhype him like he has turned into anything yet. He hasnt and he is a risk to the Rockets. Its not gonna take nowhere near Lowry to get a Demarcus Cousins who is slightly better than Jordan Hill right now if that. He just has more upside than our other bigs.

Thats debatable. It really is. He comes with emotional issues, weight issues, and he only slightly outrebounds Hill by more and outscores him more with more minutes played.

Doesnt mean I dont want him on our team. The upside is what Morey is looking for and he cant find.

I suppose if this board's taught me anything, it's that anything's debatable.

But still. It would be a silly debate. Cousins is a much more advanced offensive player right now than Hill will likely ever be. He's no worse defensively and at worst he's Hill's equal on the boards.

    He's a lot better.

Count me as one of the people that has serious concerns about Cousins' mental make-up. I'll cop out and say, "If Daryl wants him then he must be good," but right now my reservations are so great to say that I wouldn't even give up, say Jordan Hill and our 2012 pick(s) for him.

Plus, I had him on my fantasy team last year. Dude was a freaking turnover factory.

Averaging 3 more rebounds is a lot larger than it seems. But the season is so early that stats right now mean nothing.

But Cousins has looked dominant at times last year for entire games. Something Hill has never done. Hill will look good for 3 or 4 mins...then get into foul trouble...then come back in and do nothing else special.

First Bonzi, then Artest, later its KMart. Kings is the favorite hunting ground for Morey.

    Maturity comes with time.

I would be skeptical for a Cousins trade, but if Morey thinks it's worth it then it probably is.

Remember how a lot of people were concerned with the Artest trade, in fact many thought he'd blow up and destroy our team. Morey made that trade, and although that team didn't do as well as it potentially could have, Artest didn't blow up or create problems like what many posters feared.

It all comes down to whether we think Cousins' is worth the potential attitude problems. Cousins is only 21, one of the younger players in the league. A good coach and supportive teammates changes EVERYTHING for a player.

If he doesn't improve at all, he'll be better than Hill will likely ever be.

Have no problem thinking thats true. I think he is worth Morey going after. Just to see what the Kings want for him.

    http://www.draftexpress.com/article/Rookie-Retrospective-DeMarcus-Cousins-3629/

I don't know if it's unlikely but the article stated it will be hard for him to actually focus.........a pro baller that can't focus is a nightmare about to happen
