I said before the season that Eli is better than Schaub. Of course, the homers on this board scoffed at me. Turning undrafted Cruz into Pro Bowler. Eli > > Schaub
Who argued that? I mean, that is completely obvious. So fun to watch the Cowboys implode, just wish Cruz and Nix and Manning would have done this for me in the first week of fantasy football playoffs, lol.
I would think the majority would be level-headed enough to realize that unless you're just blowing the opinions of just a few out of proportion.
You have a point, but college success doesn't necessarily lead to successful NFL career, as the draft is littered with QBs who were superior to Kolb in college. While, there are players who barely had any playing time at all in college, who have become decent starters and even pro bowlers in this league. Besides, that's not really my point, if a team is desperate enough for a QB, they will give Flynn, big money. Because, there's some potential there. Even more so, it's one unproven NFL player vs. another unproven NFL player. Kolb wasn't (or is not) a sure bet. At some point, Flynn is likely to get his chance, next year to prove if he is a worthy NFL starter for an entire season.
Someone on this board before the season said he would get fired if he didn't have a good year. I thought it was insane but seeing how they finished the season that guy might be right.
