Tom Hammond and Mike Mayock will call the action for NBC. Alex Flanagan will be the sideline reporter.
Mayock called our Thursday night debacle at Indy, but also saw the potential of JJ Watt first-hand. He should be able to offer decent analysis as compared to somebody who has never seen the Texans before and just rehashes what the media tells him.
I have tickets to both of these games and I'm having a hard time deciding on which one to go to. On one hand, it is the Texans first ever playoff game. On the other, it is the the Bearkats first ever national title game. Tough decision to make.
First time The Texans are on NBC EVAAAAAAAAAAAAAAR. I could be wrong, I might be wrong, but I believe the last time a Houston NFL team was on NBC was in 96 obviously, but team was.. the Ravens. (but we did play the Bengals in week 16)

Houston can still host the AFC Conference Championship game. Houston needs to beat Cincy to start. Then they go to Baltimore and beat the Ravens. Pittsburgh or Denver needs to beat New England and then who ever wins will visit Houston for the Lamar Hunt trophy.
When the Texans lost today, I was hoping that prices would go down. I haven't checked yet, but now that the schedule is set, we will probably see more common prices.
As luck would have it...the Houston Texans have their very first playoff game at the same time my son has a basketball game scheduled. DVR is my friend.
Wow. Extremely tough...but I go with SHSU. It's the National Championship game and much more likely a place we won't be again than the Texans playing another playoff game. You go to the game and should have just enough time to get to a bar. Then again, it's been nearly 20 years since there's been a playoff game in Houston. The excitement from that...I don't know what to tell you, my friend. You really can't go wrong.
