That bum tinman once said that 13 in 33 wasn't an achievement because it was a regular season game. So, why it a failure if it's a regular season game and it was not even a rivalry?

    Use your logic.

There is no doubt that this was terrible, but how many bad moments with him do you have? Failed dunk attempt with Bucks? What else?\

T-Mac's good moments in red jersey are faaaaaaaaar faaaaaaar above his bad ones.

It's not a playoff achievement for sure.

But you know I'm not here to change your mind, I'm just here to tell you reality.

He got booed twice coming back to Houston. Has nothing to do with people who post on this board.

He most likely will not get his number retired by the organization, but there's probably a chance Yao will .

    happy new year!

Bums are bums. Sometimes they forget something that really matters. McGrady was thrown out of there, Rick was thrown out of there, Brooks (any Rockets player that have accomplished to won something individual) was thrown out of there. Scola, the guy with the biggest heart in state of Texas was thrown out with Martin. Chuck wasn't resign despite his willingness to stay.

Maybe it's about organization, not just a stupid quitting b****?

Oh, sorry. I overestimated your abilities to use some brains.

    I'm terribly sorry

it wasn't a playoff failure too

    Lebron and elbow, ha?

That was a playoff failure, a real quitting.

    Feel the difference

really what lebron does doesn't affect me as a Rockets fan, unless he joins the Rockets.

He did take Cleveland to the Finals and accomplished more than McGrady has, so his salary was justified.

Lebron did go to Hakeem over the summer to improve his game.

I don't know what Tmac did in the summer, maybe Tmac's game is so good he needs no improvement.... just kidding! his game is not perfect:grin:

he looks healthy and lean, positive sign for Mac. If only he had the work ethic to keep his body in shape he would still be playing at a very high level and be a star.

The logic is he was right in front of his man and failed to make a defensive play and just plain gave up, a clear indication of where that season was going in regards to his effort.

To put things in perspective, Lowry sprints back to the other side of the court to what looks like an easy layup and makes a great defensive play last night.

The only bad moments that I need to remember are his last years with us. Stopping a trade to elect for surgery without giving notice to the team, the special requirements to play time, and refusing to play within the Adleman's offense. As far as the goods outweighing the bad, what exactly was there besides the 22 game winning streak which by the way was a team effort not a TMac effort. If I remember correctly we can thank Novak for keeping us alive against the Kings. A bunch of first round exits and 1 great comeback against the Spurs. Not knocking on the guy just saying it how it's. Maybe if things ended differently I'd feel differently, at least he's still contributing.

He definitely looks like he's getting more elevation on his jumper than when he was playing for the pistons last season. Unfortunately for him he's in the 30+ years now so he won't be the scoring champ tmac but he still looks like he has a good few years left in him to contribute.

Sounds like ur giving novak more credit for 1 game out of 22 than what mcgrady did throughout the entire streak.

I was stating an example of team effort. When Tracy played bad everyone else stepped up. To say he was responsible for that streak is absurd. It was a complete team effort by everyone and I'm not trying to knock Tracy.

To say any player was more valuable then TMac during that streak is even more absurd.

I never said any player was more valuable than him during the streak. I simply stated that when he had an off night, the team stepped up. My issue with him is not what he provided for us that year or the prior years, its what happened the following seasons. Wish things would have turned out different but they didn't.
