I think a trade for Bosh might be possible. The only problem is that right now Miami is 4-0 so they probably don't think they need to make a trade in the first place.

They've snuck by Charlotte and Minnesota on last second shots...Miami needs a center. If they'd signed Dalembert, they might not have lost more than 6 games all season long. As is, only 2-3 teams will give them any trouble so not sure how inclined they're to making a major deal using Bosh as bait.

    1. The Suns aren't giving up Gortat

    2. Why do we need Tmac again?

    3. The Suns have too many players right now. Why would they want even more especially if they're role players?

    4. Childress is not worth Tmac and Green.

    Overall: Terrible trade

Houston gets: Wesley Matthews, Nicolas Batum, Craig Smith

Portland gets: Kmart, Marcus Morris, Jeff Adrien.

    Houston:
    Kyle Lowry/Goran Dragic
    Wesley Matthews/Clee
    Nicolas Batum/Cbud/Twill
    Luis Scola/Ppat
    Samuel Dalembert/JHill/Thabeet

The trade would make Portland instantly better and contenders for the west. It would fix our problem at sf too and we would go younger to keep us set for years to come.

    Lee + Chase + Thabeet

    for

    Pekovic + Wes Johnson

Minny gets their SG and Rick's favorite in Chase

Rox get a big that Morey coveted with some sand in his pants plus a utility SF who has been underperforming and may need a change in atmosphere
Our biggest problems are girth up front and defense in the SF position. This addresses both.

    Dally/Hill/Pekovic
    Scola/Patterson
    Johnson/Morris/Parsons
    Martin/Twil
    Lowry/Dragic/Flynn

Definitely could see this happening especially if they want to move Beasley (which they should).

    Got some killer trades.
    1. Scola for a mid to late first rounder.
    2. Kmart for a mid to late first rounder.
    3. Courtney Lee for a mid to late first rounder.
    4. C bud to the Twolves for some sort of asset.
    5. Package picks and players to move up in the draft.

I mentioned this trade possibility in another trade. It does make a lot of sense. And if nothing else, even if Miami is not going to trade Bosh, they should be willing to participate in the rumor to up the ante for other Eastern Conference teams that would possibly be making a trade for Scola and Dally.

I think Luc Richard Mbah a Moute would be an ideal fit for this team with the personnel the Rockets have. This is his scouting report from Hollinger:

He signed a 4yr/19M offer sheet with the Nuggets that Bucks matched. That should put his first year salary around ~4.45M. With the new CBA rules, since the rockets are below the luxury tax, they can acquire up to the lesser of 150 percent plus $100,000, or 100 percent plus $5 million of the salaries they trade away.

The principle framework for both sides that works under the rules would be Courtney Lee and Jeff Adrien for Luc Richard Mbah a Moute.

The Bucks would do this trade because their anemic offense could use Lee's 3pt shooting to stretch the floor better, and their coach, Scott Skiles, would place value on Lee's ability to defend. Lee could potentially start for them along side Stephen Jackson.

The Rockets do this trade because it they would have a "world class" defender at the small forward position to complement Scola and Martin's defensive deficiencies. Mbah a Moute and Budinger would solidify the small forward rotation and would open up minutes for Terrence Williams to back up Kevin Martin. Also, the rockets would avoid Courtney Lee's restricted free agency this upcoming summer.

Nice trade idea, personally I'd go even further and add C-bud if they feel like Lee is not enough. This guy is totally underrated, he's basically a sf version of Kyle Lowry during his rookie years and just like Lowry a working jumpshot would make him really good. We still have Parsons, T-will and MM as backups.

Miami needs the depth. bosh breaks through on some games but he is often Star in Reserve for 48 mpg.

Don't know if Miami would mess with their team though.

if they don't win it all this year, then a trade like this could happen in the off season.

    1. Dunno. I think Morris, Budinger, and Hill is equal value.
    2. He's looked good. He can play SF. We need an SF.
    3. The Suns are terrible right now, too. They get a lottery pick, a rising post player and a serviceable wing.
    4. Why?

    1. No they're not. Good, young centers in the nba are hard to come by especially with his cheap contract. His value is very high. Why do you think we were trying so hard to get him before he was traded to the Suns?

    2. Tmac is not the answer at SF. Bud is much better than for him our offense.

    3. Childress' contract is horrible and he's not better than either Green or Tmac, so why would the Hawks trade both for him? And the Suns already of plenty of serviceable wings in Dudley, Childress, Hill, Brown, and Redd. The last thing they need are two more wings players. They already have trouble distributing minutes as it is. They need to get rid get of players, not add more that do very similar things.

    4. See 1-3

Yeah but Bosh is overpaid. Why would we want to trade for a guy who is paid 15M but plays like he's paid 10M? Patrick Patterson can surpass him in a couple of years, and I think D-Mo has a much higher ceiling than him.

He plays like that because two guys named LeBron and Wade dominate the ball.

Hell, MJ and Pippen needed a Rodman or a Grant, a dirty-work guy, NOT another All Star.

Yeah but Scola/PP/D-mo are already solid, what can Bosh give us that those three can't? In terms of ceiling bosh is already maxed out, and I think he's already proven himself to be a notch lower than the other max players.

^ I like Moute, but I think he is a piece you add to a team with a championship core in place. I think you keep Lee in hopes of luring (or keeping) Dwight here.

Anyway, with New Jersey and Dallas starting to look like trainwrecks, I would really push hard to trade for Dwight.

If they want vets: Martin, Scola and Dalembert for Turk/Dwight

If they want youth: Hill, Patterson, Morris, Montejounas, 2 #1 picks for Howard straight up.

I think we could convince him to stay wants he sees how underated our players are.
