It is not just the Rockets that boo him, but every team he was a franchise player for. We didn't boo him because of the injuries, otherwise Yao would have been booed. We boo'ed him because he was a drama queen and especially in his Rockets twilight years. First he goes off and looks for a doctor who will recommend microsurgery as a primary option and announces he will have it as opposed to the FO. Then, he tries to come back when he is CLEARLY not ready and has all these announcements by him and Grover saying he was 100%. When he finally did play, it was CLEARLY obvious that he was not to everyone. What does the chump do? He states that he needs time to recuperate from what was possibly a season ending surgery. Why didn't you just agree then when that's what everyone else was saying? No... you had to open your fat mouth and get Grover to open his fat mouth. T-Mac's problems has always been his fat mouth and all the drama he brings. That was the key reason that the Bulls went with BOGANS over T-Mac and why T-Mac went to sit on the Piston's bench and watched the playoffs AGAIN from his couch.

Some notes for idiots. I know my body better than everyone. T-Mac knows his body better than everyone. Hakeem knew his body better than everyone. Did he open his "fat" mouth? Was he banned for it? And what? Did anyone hate the guy after it?

Every athlete and human knows what they are feeling much better than some bums on clutchfans, TC or anywhere else on the globe

Or should I say what you should do with yourself without even knowing you?

    Stupid, ilogical position

Silly argument from silly T-Mac fan. Hakeem has a history of playoff success. T-Mac has a playoff history of first round exits. How you can even try to compare the 2 is hilarious.

So all of a sudden he goes from clearly 100% ready to he is still recovering from injuries? Where did Grover go when T-Mac was clearly sucking it up and clearly not recovered? No one is mad at him and his injuries. Us Rockets fans who still dislike him are pissed at how he dealt with them. If you can't wrap your head around that, it is not worth talking further with you about it.

When some guys are rooting for stars to come to H-Town and booeing the best Rocket player of the decade because he was bad when he wasn't healthy.. it's just proving why guys with star level talent and star psychology won't be there for a while

Every player wants some support when he's having a good or bad day.

Every player knows that today he can play the best game of his career and tomorrow he'll be injured for the season or even for the rest of his career. It's part of a job. And if you can't show some support for your own player and bashing injured T-Mac, injured Bud, injured Brooks and etc, Nobody will ever come there and play, cause they don't want to be another Tracy McGrady there

And T-Mac situation is a mirror time

Guy didn't want to go out of the team. He was thrown out of there after everything he did and he never said that fans are bunch of morons, DD is fat and Morey didn't know anything cause he never grab the ball all the court in his life.

He actually admitted that he was wrong last year. That a really hard thing for a diva to do.

And if you can't let it go, don't be shocked, when Gasol, Howard or anyone else will say that he doesn't want to play there.

When you are not a big market team, you should have a diehard fan base that would support players like Minny guys are supporting Rubio right now.

With all that knee-jerking all around the CF I don't think that "support on a bad or good day" is a right word for us, Rockets fans right now

Just hoping that things will get better soon enough

You are an idiot cause you can't get a point. It's not about Hakeem, it's about supporting the guys everytime they around

T-Mac story, Yao's story over there, Brooks story, Bud's story... It's enough for a couple of years to show how classless sometimes we are. Not you, we, cause it's my fault too

If it is not about Hakeem, don't mention his name in the same sentence then as someone like T-Mac. I was always a fan about T-Mac's game, but never about him as a player. His burned bridges with every team he starred for proves that there is something fundamentally wrong with him as a player. We understand that players get injured. That is how life goes sometimes. What I cannot stand was how he chose to deal with his injuries. There are lots of players that never won a ring or had much post season success and yet are still loved and remembered by their team's fans. T-Mac never was one of those guys for obvious reasons.

Wow he has alot of energy in Houston! If he gets more minutes to play, he can average atleast 15-17 ppg. I think T-Mac is making a successful comeback.

There are some bums out there like tinman, that are blaming McGrady for getting a lot of cash and showing no heart or getting injured.

They are ignoring the fact that he was all-heart when it matters and he is using that Rockets cash not for another mansion or Joe-Joe type of car, he didn't say thing like Marbury (f**k you morons, I am a multimillionaire and you are a bunch of c***suckers). he's just giving that money to the poor people all around the globe, cause once Deke showed him how bad the life really is outside of Sugarland

But if you hate somebody, you don't need a reason.

Don't even try to use some explanations cause they are all classless. Most of them about Tracy are illogical

    Haters gonna hate. That's all

Just because he was a "silky smooth player" doesn't mean what i said isn't true. There's different ways of making the move. I, personally, have never seen him do it that smoothly. The footwork looks really good, which is saying something, since he had developed f'ed up mechanics.

And they booed him because he talked too much and rubbed the fans the wrong way. Fans dont care about his contract status. They wont understand he's trying to get another deal done. All they'll remember is when he couldn't back up everything he said. Hell, he even picked LA over Houston in the playoffs.

And trade that b**** Kevin Martin drama after having one bad night is just a symbol of it

Who cares that he averaged 24PPG with a crazy shooting percentages. Knee-jerking is knee-jerking

How many guys have admitted they mistakes for telling so much crap on K-Mart after just one game?

    That's all folks

Didn't get chance to watch the game, but Tracy did look good in the OP's highlight vid.

Yeah it's kinda funny that everyone acts as though he's a selfish douche when he goes out of his way to help people in worse situations than most of us can imagine.

Relax, from the highlights, the boos weren't that bad at all. It wasn't even noticeable in the first half, and I guess some people just wanted to do it in the 2nd half. Most Rocket fans still appreciate what McGrady brought to the Rockets.

Now the boos he gets from Toronto/Orlando are vicious right from the start till the end.

By this logic, since Bernie Madoff gave money to charity, he's not a selfish douche...

Seriously, against our own team? You never root against the good guys.

Glad he matured unlike Iverson who couldn't accept a bench role with the Grizzlies.

Let's talk about his game. He looks to be in great shape and the knee thing is finally over. He plays with confidence and actually finishes around the rim. His leg is healthly which means his J has more arch and elevation.

The problem as always is his effort. He like to take games off and that sucks cause he can be a top bench player.
