    Nice pickup considering he has a very similar play style to Dirk. Dirk can be a great mentor for Yi.

    I think he'll be fine...I mean he only lacks bball IQ right? That's totally correctable. Lets just hope he gets some PT and stays in the rotation

    How did Yi get out of his contract in China? I thought the players who signed for an entire year were stuck there for the entire season because of FIBA rules.

    Had an OUT clause in the contract. He helped the Guandong Tigers to win consecutive championships before so they just gave him free rein.

    They picked up Brandan Wright and Sean Williams earlier on too. Now they have Yi. All 3 had high picks wasted on them and now none of them are NBA worthy. I guess they provide 3rd string depth.

    Sean Williams is a decent pickup. He fits as the token enforcer/thug you want around to give a couple of hard fouls and rough other team's superstars up.
