Even if you are against trading westbrook, list some potential deals that okc can get for him. one that i heard in a diff thread was perk, westbrook for howard.
That's a great trade for the Thunder. It reunites Rondo and Perk but more importantly KD becomes the clear cut #1 option without Westbrook jackin up stupid ass shots and it makes Harden the #2 option. Thunder need a pg with pass 1st and shoot 2nd mentality. That's exactly what Rondo is and he can also put up points in a hurry if he really wanted to.
The magic couldn't get a better deal. What you think they would rather have a injury prone bynum? or a 31 year old pau? or an injured brook lopez? orrr a27 year old solid defensive center and a 23 year old allstar pg thats been off on his shot lately? i'd much rather take okc's deal, but like its been said already dwights looking for a place where there's a big market so this type of trade would never happen.
Kyle Lowry, Chase Budinger, and Jordan Hill for Russell Westbrook, Cole Aldrich and 2012 1st rd pick.
It would be more like lowry and martin for westbrook and filler, durant could use a solid pg that dish's the ball well and a second option scorer that score's efficiently and quietly 20 a game ( I understand hardens there but martins is far ahead of harden right now ). question is, how far could the rockets go with Westbrook, lee, bud, scola and dally? i think we would need a defensive upgrade at the sf position to be getting a nice spot in the playoffs, but i don't think westbrook is going anywhere him and durant are too close and are the face of the team. Its like if we would of traded tracy ( when yao and tracy were healthy ) for kobe because he fit in better. Its wouldn't be worth destroying the bond with the city and the players - Just an example
different play..... Westbrook is the much better scorer..... depend on what you need.....agreed maybe Lowry would be a good fit with Durant
thats true, but not only is he not a true point guard, but he also does not work with kevin durants style. i think rondo for westbrook is probably best for both sides. Rondo goes to okc where he is reunited with perk(like someone already mentioned) and boston gets a scorer to help out the aging big three. win-win situation if you ask me..
