    I don't doubt that.

I would wait till mid season before judging how good Rubio really is. Teams will begin to adjust to him, exploit his weaknesses, we'll see how well he responds to them.

But at this moment, Lowry is way better than Rubio. In fact our own Lowry is on track to become an all-star. Can't say the same for Rubio yet.

Rubio and Lowry isn't that far apart age wise. Rubio's what, 21? Lowry's 25. 3 year isn't going to matter much between the two of them. Regarding Rubio, right now he's still unscouted so team's aren't able to prepare for him. He still can't shoot, is defenseless and isn't all that athletic. Remember Jose Calderon during his rookie year? How about Brook Lopez? Some dudes here were claiming Brook Lopez was gonna be the next TD

Rubio right now is doing great as a rookie, but unless he can develop the other facets of his game he won't make much of a difference the next few years, when teams already realize you can post him up and leave him open at the 3. Trading both Lowry and Kmart for him at this point is just stupid.

Rubio gave up the winning layup to D-Wade. He's gotta work on his defensive awareness.

He averaged 5 pts and 4 assists in 20 mins of play. By his 2nd year he upped that to 9 and 5 in the same mins and people were calling him the next Nash and were trying to run Ford out of town.

I wonder whether we are watching the same Rubio. C'mon, his defense is fine. Also Rubio did not give up the layup to Wade, that was Ellington's job.

this happens on clutchfans. people not watching and making comments that they watch.

Those alley oop passes were pin point accurate.
    Court awareness was quite advanced.

Only saw the highlights but Rubio looked solid and Miami looked like they were playing a bit dirty. RA is an impressive coach.

If nothing else, at least it looks like those who predicted that Rubio would be a total bust are most probably wrong (yeah, I'm looking at you, manuforever/OHMSS/KillBillPana/whateverelseyourfreakingnameis).

Adelman actually said that the bigs were also warned about the lob just before the play. He wasn't really pissed about it, he said the players are too inexperienced so there will be mistakes like that.

    Williams almost got there. Almost.

His defense is fine because we're only 3 games in and nobody has had a chance to work out the kinks in their offense yet. Also who is the pg on Miami's team? Like another poster said we'll see how he responds when D-will and Chauncy Billups start posting him on the block.

If you watched the play, Rubio actually switched on to Wade when he came up top. Wade then ran off the next screen. Can't remember who was defending on the right high post, but they didn't switch on to Wade. They should have and they would have been in the right position to prevent the lob.
