You're right about the Tmac and Gallo thing but c'mon Walton? Parsons has done more in his 3 NBA games than Luke has done his entire career.

Most capable shooters average more then 11 a game in college. A 6-9 3 man who is a capable shooter should score more then 11 a game in college.

You did say Parsons was a capable shooter right?

Yes i did...and there's many capable shooters who don't average more than 11 a game in college. It's college, the overall scoring is lower, so the ppg of players are lower.

You're writing "shooters" to try and make a point, but in your mind you're arguing about scoring. Not the same thing.

Parsons 37 percent from the college three point line translates to what in the NBA?

He never even got to 37% even in his last yr of college. And he only averaged 33% from behind the line in his 4 years there in Florida. Those shots he got today were WIDE open. Lets see how he shoots when someone is closing out on him hard or right in his face.

36.8 from 3 as a senior I rounded up. I didn't want one of the Parson fanatics to go insane.

Thats just a stupid argument. we don't need him to create shots, or drain them with a hand in his face. We just need him to do exactly what he did, hit open shots, and of course not take shots when he's being closely guarded. Lets see how good anybody does shooting with a hand right in their face, everybody's not kobe if you haven't noticed.

You'll be seeing how he drives instead of shooting. Just like he did today....hence the all around game...c'mon y'all....

Low sample...one good spin makes that 3 of 6 instead for 50%. I want to say his misses weren't even that bad, but i can't remember them clearly. I think he went up against Gasol on one of them.

Matt Barnes and Shane Battier are very good playmakers. They aren't Jason Kidd but they understand the offense and can make crisp and accurate passes on the court. They can also hit open shots and rebound in addition to being pesky defenders. Not sure why you think Parsons has a better all around game than Matt Barnes and Battier, both those guys contribute across the board hence they're called "glue" guys.

Parsons playmaking is nice but he isn't a genius playmaker like Tmac. As you said he does a lot of things ok but none of them are great. Seems like a future glue to me, unless you think he's destined for stardom.

I can see some similarities, but Parsons' offense isn't as limited as Battier's. He's also better on the move. Battier's passing comes hitting a moving target, while Parsons can move himself and hit an open teammate.

I think he's more creative than either of them. Barnes and Battier have labels as defenders, who can hit shots here and there, limited on moves, especially Battier. I don't think Parsons has that label and probably never will. He's much more even on both ends of the court, more offense than them and but less defense.

I dont think he's destined for stardom. I guess his position on the team would be the same as those two, but i dont think their skills are similar.
