Parsons played well in one game, in garbage time. No need to worry about Marcus, he's got plenty of talent. Patterson didn't play much early in the season last year.

Same case when Bud played more minutes than JT during their rookie season.

Parsons will be our David Lee next season. Come to think of it, he already trained with him over the summer. As a matter of fact, Parsons was the busiest Rocket during the lockout.

I completely agree. No one in their right mind could think this roster is championship ready. It's all about bait.

If Parsons is getting more playing time than Morris, then it means the staff has seen something in practice that warrants that decision. I hate to say it, but it is sorta showing during the times that they have played.

Garbage time means nothing. Parsons is nothing and he will never be a decent starter,

Mchale needs to play Morris. It's amazing how so many people on Clutch Fans prefer Parsons over Morris.

    Morris is in McHale's doghouse.

If that's true, then it means Morey wasted a lottery pick on a player that's worse than theeir 38th pick.

    Moneyball fail.

3 games into the season? After a 2 game pre-season and shortened training camp?

I think it just means Parsons got some good experience overseas and then, either paid more attention, or just picked up the system more quicky because of familiarity.

I wouldnt call Morris a waste because he's not caught up at this point. Parsons is just ahead of schedule.

Did you watch the game? The game was over when Parsons started going off. No defense was being played and his shots were uncontested.

Parsons should get credit for being the only guy playing hard at the end of a blowout. He looks like he has a solid work ethic.

His performance tonight was in an even less competitive environment then a pre season game.

If you want to go crazy over meaningless performances Marcus Morris 20 point pre season game was more impressive.

How is Morris supposed to catch up if he is rotting on the bench and Parsons is getting playtime? That's the catch-22.

What a r****ded Knee Jerk thread. Ive seen some bad ones this week so far but damn.

Chandler played well despite the loss was one of the bright spots of the game. Be happy about that and stop b****ing. Morris will get the same opportunities that Parson, Patterson, and every other player on the team will get this season.

McHale has to see what he can get out of all of his guys, and on the seasons only back to back to back he is trying different players and going deep down the bench to see who can help get wins. Relax.

Morris, while he obviously has more potential than Parsons to be an all-star, might not be doing all the small things that Chandler is to execute effectively. Those small things can help win basketball games.

Just my opinion, morris is more 4 than a 3. I'm not a parsons fan, but during the preseason, morris played the 4 and parsons the 3.

Our 3s are weak...lol...Chase is still probably the best, but with about 20 mins a game, he is not going to get any rythmn....

Chandler played pretty well tonight, especially rebounding, but a lot of that was late in the game in garbage time, but still it was pretty good.

TWill is too short....to play SF.....

And Morris is, a PF....who needs to get a lot quicker to play the 3...

I am not sure what McHale is doing either, he has no rotation, just an off the cuff move....but maybe Morey knew that.....lol.

Protect the lottery pick baby !

If I had to make an educated guess it would be that he doesnt have a rotation yet and is still trying to see what he has on the bench with guys like Parsons, Morris, T-Will, Flynn, etc. With more of a preseason type of rotation, or lack thereof. Its just too early to tell who "deserves" it more just yet.

Maybe it will benefit more in the longrun if McHale is more exploratory in his rotations early on so the team can settle in rotations for the duration of the season. It makes sense to me, but if he keeps on with a 12 man rotation night after night in February Ill agree with you then.
