Rick Adelman is trash, at least from a firsthand experience watching him as a Rockets coach, i don't care for much about what he did for the Kings

If i remember right, dude doesn't play rookies or players that he didn't evaluate during the offseason. Single-handedly, he derailed the development of several of our young players who are now McHale's problem. And is very high on old vets like Battier and Brad Miller and T-Mac, even when they are sucking. Dude is stuck in his own ways.

When Thabeet got traded here, and they asked his opinion on the trade "He said something about "he doesnt even play for Memphis, what the hell am i supposed to do with him here. I can't do anything with him at all"

good riddance, he can go mess up the timberwolves

westbrook is seriously useless, if i was Thunder would have given NOH Westbrook and 2 first round picks for paul and they would have been set this season.

Not to mention another awesome game by him today against the mavericks, practically single hand kept mavs in the game with his crazy turnovers and 6/17..

its just so sad to see Thunder with a perfect team yet they could have so many other point guards to take this team to the next level.

So he didn't play Landry, Scola, Brooks, Lowry, or Budinger?

Dude lot all credibility when he said Adelman was high on all vets and then included T-mac.

It's clouding his vision because Westbrook uses apple products. It's a shame realy because he is a top 10 player in this league.

what? is tmac is a rookie now? several games where he was struggling, and i mean really shooting the team in the foot- Adelman still kept him in the game. oh and btw shaud your credibility dont do nothing for me .

But back to thread title, i doubt okc is gonna trade westbrook anytime soon, the best thing you can hope for is that he gets his act together

Westbrook comes off very selfish to me. Talented guy, but instead of playing with Durant it seems he competing with the guy. Almost like tit for tat. It's sad because if he'd learn how to pass the ball the Thunder'd be the best team in teh NBA

He was 9th in the NBA in assists last year at 8.2/game.

Chris Paul is credited as being a SPIRITED competitor and in-your-face LEADER who will GET ON his teammates hard when he needs to.

If Westbrook had a team that was just HIS to run where HE was the #1 guy, he'd probably be seen as close to the same. Or if Westbrook was on a VETERAN team like the Celtics and Lakers with proven winners, he'd be seen as a youthful spark like Rondo.

But on the Thunder he has a CLEAR Kevin Durant the same age as him as the #1 in front of him, so he's gonna be viewed as DISRUPTIVE to the process. (Well you kinda bring that on yourself when you get in NEAR FIGHTS with your star teammate.)

A point guard needs to focus on the effectiveness of the TEAM and its players. Not TOTALLY on his IMPRINT on the game (in my opinion).

Doesnt matter. He doesnt defer to his star player enough, and the more you watch him you'll notice this

Unlike you, I've watched almost every OKC regular season and playoff game since WB's rookie year and he defers plenty. Did you know KD's led the league in scoring the last 2 years? How much more should he score? Without WB riding shotgun as 2nd option, OKC wouldn't have come close to 50 and 55 wins the last 2 seasons.

There was a reason WB was 2nd team all-NBA last season.

in my eyes he is way overated because he's neither
point guard because no passing vision or ability
shooting guard because he cant shoot for *****
but a good rebounder, defender and athlete
