Your proving my point you are a troll. No basketball related points and all your doing is trying to correct my grammar.

Can we please talk about the Rockets?

It;s really sad that since you can't deny my points about the Rockets you have no choice but to attack my grammar.

Your the definition of a troll.

How many teams do the Rockets have a more promising future then?
Do you see the Rockets competing for a championship anytime soon?
Can we keep it basketball related?

Okay, this thread is so pointless. So devoid of point...that most feel the need NOT to reply seriously.

So here is my serious response troll or not. We have a good possible playoff team that has plenty of flexibility and the ability to add a max player in free agency if one ever actually wants to play here.

By your logic you actually believe that every team will eventually be better than us because they have a future and we don't. Wouldn't that automatically mean we also will have a future through draft???

Do I need to explain that slower? Is that logic too hard to understand for you? Are you actually going to sit here and argue with that?

The truth is, in most cases, those rosters on other teams, aren't going to make them much better or even better at all. I mean, otherwise we'd be the worst team eventually or at least be bad enough cause of other teams' improvement to get a high draft pick.

For my smarmy remark portion of this post, you say we don't have a top 5 pick on our team? Hasheem Thabeet.

Sorry that you lack common sense. I never said that every team would be better then us. The Rockets are stuck in the middle. I am not saying that every team will eventually become better then the rockets. What I am saying is that every team has more hope then the Rockets.

The teams that really suck are just a draft pick away from turning it around while the rockets have no hope landing a superstar in the lotto.

To sum it all up for you. The rockets are stuck in the middle and the only way to become contenders in the Rockets situation is through rebuilding and since the Rockets won't do that their is no hope.

Your insults are pathetic and it's sad that you can't comprehend a simple point.

Not true. Do you know the kind of financial messes some of the bottom teams are in? You obviously don't understand how much cap space we will have this off-season. We are big players in next year's free agency, and we have the pieces to sign and trade. You can thank Morey for giving out very team friendly contracts.

So...let me get this straight. You think every other team has a better future than us and is one lotto pick from landing a superstar...yet you believe we will still be stuck in the middle? So...we will always have a better team than half the NBA??? Even though they ALL have a better future than us?

I'm done arguing with you. I agree with everyone else. You're just really stupid.

Lol you really don't understand. Being in the middle is the worst possible position, not good enough to truly contend and not bad enough to land a superstar.

Sorry for not being excited about being mediocre.

You forget that for every Blake Griffin in the draft, there's bound to be 5 Michael Olowokandi's.

    WELCOME BACK TROLL!! :p

This is the first rebuilding season for the rockets since their franchise player retired in yao ming. If anything, this is the season to finally figured out the direction of the franchise. Imo, The thread was simply made too soon with a cliché title. Would have been a better post at the end of the season when the real state of the franchise is clearer. Right now we have a bunch of unknowns in players and coaching staff.

Again, it's still pretty soon to find out with alot of players still needing development. Only established players are Kmart, Scola, lowry, dalembert, and lee. Who knows what the others could potentially do.

There are several teams in a similar mediocre situation as the rockets. Hawks, I mean let's face it. They are in the playoffs but can they really beat out the heat, bulls, celts? Meaning they are in the playoffs and not getting lotto picks to improve. Not to mention they aren't young. The sun's are mediocre and old. Bucks are mediocre as well. Also, many of the lottery teams that still have become nothing after years and years of lotto picks. Bobcats, wizards, recent cavs, and possibly the hornets.

There is really only about 10 teams that could possibly win a championship in the next 5 years.

The goal is to become one of those teams that is capable of winning a championship. The Rockets strategy is to get where the Hawks are as a franchise. Thats the sad part the Rockets are not striving to become a championship contender their striving to become the Hawks of the west.

Honestly, the rockets have a better future that you say they do. I mean the team averages about 24 age wise so they are young with some older players to help the younger guys who still need molding. You can argue that they have gone through the rebuilding process by receiving young players with alot potential and are now on the phase of playing their hardest, hoping for a playoffs spot, all while developing players.
