Chase Budinger+Marcus Morris+Johnny Flynn+Jordan Hill for Andre Iguadola and Mo Speights. I know this trade has been mentioned, but I cannot help but think what a team with Lowry/Martin/AI/Scola/Dalembert and Lee,Williams,Patterson and Speights coming off the bench could do.
I think Iggy's overrated and I wouldn't do that if I were the sixers. They have young talent with a lot of upside, and a huge expiring contract in Brand. Keep dreaming dude.
I'd like to see Morey inquire about Boris Diaw's availability. I think he'd be a good fit here as both a 3 and smallball 4/5. He can guard four positions fairly effectively, shoot the 3, and would give us another high-post passer, which I think the offense could use. Wouldn't mind parting with Hill and Bud and maybe some picks once Patterson comes back and Dalembert has built his stamina up.
Have you seen him lately? Let's just say the team bus will likely tilt toward the side Boris sits in.
Is he fat again? I thought I heard that he actually came into camp in shape this year after playing in France during the lockout.
Im a fan of Flynn but I wouldnt mind trading him. Just a suggestion but can someone tell me if we could possibly trade Flynn and Budinger to the Lakers for their 2012 first round pick? Lakers would get a quick PG and they would get another white small forward. Plus their pick shouldnt be too low. Just so we can make some roster space and actually get something for flynn since we probably wont keep him.
Bosh for Dalembert/Scola/Dragic Scola does pretty much what Bosh would do for the heat in making open jumpers and pick&pop. He also rebounds at about the same rate. Dalembert would provide them with the shotblocker that they sorely need. Dragic is one of the best PGs to push the pace and he plays more like a SG with a decent stroke so doesn't need the ball in his hands on half court sets. Dalembert Scola Lebron Wade Dragic For Houston We finally get the top 15-20 talent that we sorely need. Bosh as a first option will probably be back to the 20/10 guy he used to be in Toronto. Not sure what we do about the center position but we'll figure that out later after we get the talent upgrade. A Bosh/Martin/Lowry trio is pretty good to build on.
Dragic wouldn't start over Chalmers or Cole, but he'd be a nice backup guard behind Wade. That's not a bad move for the Heat since that is based around Wade and LeBron anyway. It gives them some more cap flexibility with Dragic's expiring contract and Sammy's Team option. That's a move I could see happening toward the trade deadline. Although Bosh as a 5 is a little scary to think of... Hopefully Morey could pull of another deal to reel in RoLo or Asik.
I really would like Randolph and I think Rubio is the best passing PG since Nash to come into the league but there is no way I would trade Lowry and Martin for him. Lowry being 24 and playing like he is the second best PG in the league and add in his unbelievably cheap contract and it equals a player you build around.
I like Lowry too, but Rubio is going to be special, and you have to give value to get it. I think you could take advantage of Adelman knowing these players and them knowing his system. Morey should be on the horn with him every day. DD
Yeah, I don't think they will give him up ever....but Rick loves CBud....why not CBud for Randolph? DD
Wasn't the fact that DM the GM and RA the HC were on horns at each other why the trade was KMc for RA?
They probably prefer Pat instead since he's younger and still on a rookie contract in the place of Dalembert and Williams since they have their two PG's with Wade running it at times. Also it clears room at the PF position. That would be a great trio to build on though but I only see Miami dealing Bosh if they don't win the Championship this year then that would be a great trade. Also keeps us flexible next off-season with them also trying to bring in D-Mo and Llull with Dalembert, Morris, and Budinger's options being picked up. Lowry, Dragic(unrestricted), Flynn(decline) Martin, Lee(restricted) Budinger, Parsons Bosh, Morris, Adrien(decline) Dalembert, Thabeet(decline)
