Good personal attack. My point is so bad? Then why are their only 3-4 teams even getting mentioned as having a worst future then the Rockets?

This post got buried, but I think it hits the nail on the head.

I would just add that the OP is comparing the Rockets to teams that are better now with less future and saying the other teams are better because they're better now, and then turning around and comparing the Rockets to teams that are worse now with potentially better futures and saying the other teams are better because they have a better future. How does the OP define "better"? It's tough to have it both ways.

I would say he's not too far off from fans who want to tank but is very far from fans who think we've got a good team now and want to let it ride and trust DM to do some magic doing thing Les' way.

I do think his way of stating assumptions as facts is annoying but insults only feed him.

Not angry at OP for his opinion. Just think that, in a purely objective detached opinion, that he is r****ded. Not for thinking Cavs or Pistons are better, but for using cliched phrase and failing to explain how he arrived at such conclusion.

For example: What makes Irving's future or Knight's future better than Lowry's?

I'm not trying to have it both ways. I have never backed up from my point that the Rockets have no future. My point has only been validated throughout this thread. Only a few teams have even been mentioned as having as bleak a future as the rockets.

I arrived at my conclusions because the Rockets have zero potential superstars on the roster. They have no trading chips that can land a superstar and their not bad enough to draft one.

If you don't agree with my explanation that's fine but don't make false claims. I have explained my point over and over again.

Why do you have the need to use juvenile insults. Do you have low self esteem? Is their a reason why you constantly resort to name calling and profanity?

The Rockets have a younger roster than the Thunder.

Lowry/Martin/Scola could absolutely bring in a superstar.

Martin/Scola alone was going to bring in Pau Gasol and Nene...

Terrence/Patterson/Morris/Hill/Budinger/Motiejunas/Lee/Dragic are all quality players that are extremely young, with flexible contracts. Perfect guys to throw at a rebuilding team.

that's not my point to answer. you started a terrible thread based on a pre-season game. the team proved you wrong.

also, your use of their/they're/there needs work as well as your/you're and then/than.

My grammar has nothing to do with the fact that the Rockets are in a terrible position.

Btw you need help. I was proved wrong because the Rockets are 1-1. The thread was not based on a preseason game it was based on the state of the franchise.

Can you define, objectively, what having a bleak future means? Is it likely hood to win a tittle within the next 5 years? Likelihood to get to the conference finals in the next 7 years?

Or is it purely an emotional "me so depressed" deal?

but it supports my assessment that you started a terrible thread. I'm not even in the discussion. I am trolling you like you are this board. Sylvan Learning Center charges a pretty penny for their tutoring and I just gave you free online support.

    Bleak Future= Rockets situation

Seriously Bleak future means no championship aspirations what so ever. The Rockets do not have a championship foundation. The future is always bleak when your team has no superstar player and no potential superstar. It is also even worst when their is no realistic way for them to bring in a superstar besides rebuilding. Since the Rockets refuse to rebuild they have no future.

No it doesn't my thread makes a valid point.

BTW my grammar was good enough to obtain a Bachelors degree.

Posters like you are the real trolls. You have no interest in basketball or the Rockets. You would rather post about grammar. Save your grammar lessons for a different forum.

So, this is a purely emotional deal for you.

Lol really? It has nothing to do with emotions, the Rockets have zero potential to be a championship contender. Their only hope is to rebuild and they refuse to do that.
Lol is that clear enough for you?

Your a troll you have no basketball related points. Your only here to insult me.

Do you think the Rockets are on the path to championship contention?
How many teams do you honestly think have a worst future then the rockets?
Do you see any scenario in which the Rockets will be competing for a championship in the next 5 years that does not include rebuilding?

I weep for the future if you are telling me English is your first language and you have a bachelor's degree. by the way:
    LOL

come on troll spare me, I have been posting here for 10 years. your lack of intelligence shows in your writing skills and directly correlates with your basketball knowledge. I can't even spend another moment defending the Rockets against you.

no i think you need to learn the difference here.

it's WORSE , Troll! and there are plenty!

Since all you do is repeat the same crap over and over in that small, tiny depressed brain of yours, I guess I'll do the same.

    Go away, r****d.
