You guys are KD/Longhorn nut huggers so you are clearly making this shot into a much bigger deal than it was. Sure it was the best buzzer beaters of the season, a nice clutch shot and that's about it. Look at it slowly, nobody even got a hand in his face by the time he released the ball. If Kobe hit this exact same shot, nobody would be claiming they were running around their home screaming like a school girl. It's a pedestrian shot for a super star player like KD which is why I respect it, I see that it's clutch, but I expect this from him - it was a simple catch and shoot.
You don't understand anything do you. This shot speaks miles about everything. OKC was eliminated by Mavericks last season, they're rivals. KD just made a game winner against their rival. OKC is 4-0 since 2002 with KD's big shot. OKC beat the best team last season with a great shot. KD hit a buzzer beater after Carter's buzzer beater, which initially appeared to be original buzzer beater. OKC is predicted to be the best team in the West this season, they just showed why they are by beating the best team of last season. If Kobe made a buzzer beater with these circumstances everyone would be talking about it, guaranteed. In fact people were talking about Kobe's buzzer beater over Harden in a pick up game. Look we all know you ride Lebron's jock, and we all know if it was Lebron who did it you'll be singing a different tune. So you really should leave it alone.
Man, that was awesome! LeBron can only dream about being clutch like that in the 4th quarter when the game is in the line.
imbedding is different on this forum anyway, this was my reply to clos4life http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CveCqeJGhRA
Second time you mention this, not all of us did that. Just that one poster. We were simply excited to see a damn buzzer beater. First one of the season... and we havent' had exciting basketball If you're upset or don't think it was all that, quite frankly it sounds like a personal problem. One you might want to address.
If he can learn his place, and that's a big if, then they'll be the best team in the league for years to come. Westbrook could facilitate and take over when Durant has off nights, or make defenses pay when they focus to much on Durant.
Westbrook is a beast, it just stinks that one of the few players in the NBA that is better than him is on his team and he needs to learn to defer to him at times. They will learn to coexist, and the Thunder will stomp the Heatless. I still think Cp3 for Westbrook was the best trade for both parties, but that is in the past.
