I would have had confidence my teammate would hit an wide open three.. He's trying to enjoy the game, but you get him on not getting in postition to rebound the ball, when he got his teammate a wide open shot... Like really?

Ironic how you don't realize that you are the very thing that you hate, and that you pin this crap on others to mask your own discrepancies.
Go visit a therapist DD. You need one.

transition defense DD. he made a beautiful pass to a WIDE open man. he should be getting back on defense and let the big men rebound and he gets back on d to make sure no fast break. How you dont understand that puzzles me. who cares if he got happy and made a happy face he was still running back

I'm arguing because DD derails every thread about T-Will.
In all honesty, I think Bud is a solid player (offensively at least) that needs some more time to get his game back and that T-Will is still a bit raw at this moment, but he has the potential to develop into an all-star slasher.
DD on the other hand thinks Budinger is a god and that T-Will should be smited for playing better than Bud.

I personally think you are too emotional and you grow too much of an attachment to the players you like.
You over analyze players you don't like and under analyze players that you love.

Which is why you infuriate the majority of this board with your BS posts.

Stop acting smug and realize that you are the problem and that you need to tone down the intensity of your posts and always think before you post something.

People are defending his every move because they think he might read this forum etc.

The guy has been enabled his whole life and can't for the life of him figure out why he and his athletically gifted self keeps getting put on the bench.

Never ever it seems thinking that it might just be the way he plays, or his lack of attention to detail that puts him there.

The truth is the truth, some people though would rather not hear it because they despise the messenger.

Ignore the messenger and read the message, that is the key here.

He's an emotional player ... obviously ... (NBA 2k emotional rating can go up and down and it has nothing to do with the players skillset/IQ lol) ... But seriously, the fact that it was a GOOD pass can't be denied ... and the fact that he was supposed to get back on defense can't be denied.

His court vision also can't be denied ... And I think when Williams and Dragic are both in the game together, Williams should handle the ball while Dragic plays off the ball.

If you have an ignore list, isn't that a red flag about you?

He's progressed after each game ... As Rockets fans, we should all be proud of that and hope that he continues to improve, as he is showing he can and wants to.

It's no longer constructive criticism when progression is ignored.

He has done some thing better, more patience etc, but when he continues to do the major thing that has always gotten him in trouble it sort of trumps little progress here and there.

I still like the guy, a lot actually, I just want him to focus on doing the little things, because the lack of that is what has kept him on the bench for 2 years.

did we win by 20 or lose by 20 last night?

the truth is, ALL nba players like to show off and probably do something similar to what twill did last night on a nightly basis. it is in the nba culture, so if you do not like seeing it, you should stop watching basketball all together.

fact is, the Rockets played a great game last night and managed to bring a lot of believers back on their side. lets just enjoy the win and hope that it can continue. Guys like Lowry, Martin, Scola, and Lee will play extremely hard every night, now lets just hope that Sam, Twill, Hill, Bud, and Dragic can take turns playing stellar games to really keep this going.

    BELIEVE!

Sounds like DD just described himself perfectly. Well except for the part about "athletically gifeted fingers", i doubt any part of DD is athletic

Yes, but I don't think his emotions are what set him back ... His admitted immaturity in Jersey and also being young, drafted into what was a losing franchise filled with uncertainty played a huge role. Then being traded here with a coach going public saying he wasn't going to get any minutes. He might have handled that wrong too.

But this season, there's been nothing but good reports of how hard he practices ... shows up early ... leaves late ... and how much he's progressed, period.

Its okay to be passionate about a good play ... Now, if he was doing that while throwing a bad pass, or shooting a bad shot, not getting back on defense ... not playing within the system .... then I could see the problem with showing that type of emotion.
