We ****ing say one thing about Budinger or Thabust and your ass is the 1st to say something stupid.

Making excuses for how bad Budinger and Thabeet are.

    Stop making them!

DD you of all people should know, depending on your weight, momentum will make it that much harder for you to stop.

Not even the most athletically gifted of athletes are able to stop on a dime like that.
Not to mention he was in mid-air; I don't know about you DD (actually I do. You can't even jump anyway) but its ridiculously difficult... no impossible to control yourself in MIDAIR.

That was a hell of pass anyway. But people like DD are complaining that he won't attempt to grab a futile rebound that he wouldn't be able to get anyway.

    You criticize if he sucks.
Not if he does something positive.

You don't pick apart a POSITIVE play and zone in on any mishaps.
Its like T-Will dunking and you complaining that he showboats or some **** like that.

This isn't your local rec league DD, this is NBA basketball. Fans are looking for a combination of success and a show.

More excuses, he could have stopped, turned and been in position to rebound the ball if it came to his area, I am not saying he had to stop on a dime.

Meh, why bother with neophyte discussions it is a waste of time.

WTF is there to criticize if he does something POSITIVE?

If he does well, I will say it, but we are not talking about that.....now are we....

It is like swatting Gnats in here, people arguing that someone can do no wrong.....enabling mfers....

Budinger has been playing average defence this year, it's certainly better than what he did his rookie year.

Plus Bud starting is going to be only temporary imo, he's more fit for a spark off the bench. At some point TWill will start over him, but TWill disrupts the flow of the offence too much to play with the starting lineup. Even when Bud misses his open shots, he's moving around correctly and spacing well.

    Are you serious?
The paint was already packed the moment he jumped out of it to make that pass.
They all boxed out what do you not understand about that? There's a reason why you are taught to box out; it is effective and prevents people like T-Will from running back in.

I bet he has lots of trade value. Small contract and a lot of potential.

He'd work in a run-and-gun system like Phoenix or NY.

Then turn back in and see if you get a long rebound, which BTW, most 3 pt shots are....

Oh never mind, you go ahead and do it your way....enjoy watching ignorant basketball.

He made a good pass to a wide-open Lee... if Lee had made the shot you wouldn't have said anything.
Everytime T-Will does something you look for something to criticize and make sure your protege Bud looks good.

I don't see you invading threads for Bud and pointing out minor faults in his game. In fact you exaggerate his positive attributes and shadow away his negatives.

I loved the pass, loved it....but that is not the end of the play, do you get that point?

It ENDS when there is a made basket or a change of possession.

Twill started showboating before the play was over.

    Which is precisely my point.

I am not going to make excuses for him, which you are doing.

Meh, forget it...you just want to argue....got it.......

Oh you mean the basketball that is played when Bud is out on the court?
I hate that type of basketball.

    T. Will is what he is, he can break down defense with his "flashy" dribbles and penetration. Imo he did solid, could he have done better possibly but for those here on this board who thinks garbage C. Bud is better, would not have changed there mind if he stopped to try to grab an almost impossible rebound. He is an athletic rebounder, not a scrappy rebounder like Lowry or even Scola.

Well he is certainly not going to get a rebound if he is puttering down the court with his arms out like he is a 737, now is he?

    ;)

Either way....if you guys are fine with that...enjoy it....

I personally think it is the reason he has been glued to the bench and will put him back there again.

He has a good contract, too good to be true actually for someone who was a starter last year. You can't trade him straight up for another player because the money won't match. At best, you can only use him for filler in a major trade, and he's a lil too good to be filler.

I'm not saying he's not a good player, its just gonna be hard to trade him, and we might not get anything for value if we do, because of his cheap contract. And I'm sure Bud knows that too, maybe thats why we r getting what we paid for on defense

Courtney missed a shot and you are trying to pin that on T-Will for not going out of his way and attempting to grab a futile rebound.

You make excuses for Bud all the time! "Oh man. He airballed that shot, but at least he had good spacing."

Bud's one sole purpose. HIS ONLY PURPOSE is here to shoot. If he can't do that, he is worthless. Same as Kmart.

T-Will is still raw. He's only played two games for the Houston Rockets so far. In the end regardless of the good or bad he's done the sample size is way too small to start judging him now.

I do see potential in him, but people have to willing to let him grow. Its mindbogglingly stupid to see people who have made the mistake of judging players too early and then eating crow when they develop into good players... like Lowry for instance.

As well as people that can't learn to let go of their favorite players and continue to defend them: AB.
