That said, this board's gonna go insane the second he has one of those triple double nights he showed he's capable of his rookie season...

So much potential... let's just hope he can figure it all out.

Ducked down and put his arms out like an airplane....now how exactly is that a basketball move, and why do that when he doesn't know if the shot will be made, he could have simply boxed out and gotten a rebound for the team?

Seriously guys, he has talent, but his focus is for **** !

Passing the ball off is not facilitating. Facilitating is creating scoring opportunities for teammates by either attacking or directing. That's what Lowry does. TWill has the abilities, but he's not showing much. I am still holding my breath on his supposed "break out". I don't see enough to say that he has "got it."

Who cares if he put his arms out? Dalembert makes weird faces when on D, does that upset you too?

I get it if your upset he didn't box out and you think we don't need the PG (yes he was playing PG at the time) to get back on D to stop a potential fast break, but who gives a crap if he ducks and puts his arms out.

The team cares that he is showboating instead of playing basketball.

He was showboating for the crowds and cameras when he should have stayed focused on his responsibilities on the court.

If you are ok with that, fine...I am not.

I want winning basketball, showboat all you want after a successful play...but not before....and not when it hurts the team.

In T-will's defense it really was a nice pass, I get the showboating, but seriously couldn't it have waited until after the shot went in?

The kid's a phenomenal rebounder, and he had a legitimate shot at that O-board... but instead he "airplane'd" down the court...

Compare that to Dalembert who simply likes releasing his tribal rage, and you understand the problem.

I like how he always looks for his teammates first before doing anything.

How about Mutombo waving his finger or Lebron throwing up powder? Lots of guys want to get attention from the camera. Seems like I have seen a some guy on this site using a camera on his pc to get attention. Self promotion is the state of pro sports in this country and it won't change anytime soon.

Exactly, if the shot went in and he did it after, I would be celebrating right along with him, but the fact that he did it before and basicall quit on that play, is inexcusable and one of the main reasons he has been glued to the bench for 2 years.

He still has not GOTTEN it...and probably never will.

Is there an article or quote that says that the team finds offense to this?

Successful play. So if Twill hits a shot and starts showboating, you're not going to find that offensive? I find that hard to believe.

    Mutombo....AFTER the successful play.

Lebron - Before the game and not during it.

Me - Just a great guy who likes to add something to the board.

None of them are the same thing as stopping your responsibilities DURING THE GAME to showboat.

Does nobody here think that the PG needs to get back on D?

Long shot long rebound = fastbreak opportunity

I did not mind the finger wag, did not mind the kiss of death by Mario...loved them ....do it AFTER you have done something good, not before and when the play is still going on....that is 100% the wrong thing to do.

Inexcusable and again....the main reason he has been riding the pine, and will be again if he keeps it up.

Excuses, and there was a guy at the top of the key who is responsible for getting back.

Stop making excuses for the guy, he needs to be held accountable.

While ppl criticized him as a ball-hog in the first game for not giving the ball to Dragic, last night proved I was right when guessing that it was part of the game-plan, even with Lowry on the court. That speaks of the willingness of our coaching staff to risk some chips in the pot for him, we as fans should do the same and have patience, further, Morey has gone on record declaring that Williams has the most upside out of all of our players.

I agree he has shown to be passive at both ends of the court but my hunch is that he's still trying to find the balance between trying to do too much (as he had in the past) and staying in control. Yesterday's positive outcome was showing what I hope is his vastly improved 3pt shot.

If he's ever going to amount to something, he is going to need patience, it's in our best interest to give it to him, stop b****ing about every tiny detail.

I actually did not like the way T Williams played in San Antonio. If he got the rebound he would take the ball up the court instead of giving it to the point, even if that was Lowry. And, while it is true that he looked to pass before anything else, and that his passes were creative, he got the ball to guys in spots where they couldn't do anything with it, or in a sloppy manner so that they couldn't catch and shoot.

I wish I had the time to post videos from last night's game of this, but I don't, so sorry.

Overall he has looked good this season, and I think hope he keeps getting plenty of minutes so that he can figure things out and compete for a starting spot -- but we should not get ahead of ourselves or give him credit where it is not due, and, so far, he is due very little credit for his passing.

Unfortunately not many regular fans can distinguish between a pass that leads to high percentage shot and just regular passing. Contrast Lowry's passes and TWill's passes and it's not even close.

TWill either needs to learn how to pass within the flow of the offense, or he needs to be a good enough scorer to over-dribble. I don't particularly care if TWill jacks up 15 shots in his 20mpg. I'd prefer him going 8-15 than 2-4 if he's not getting his teammates good looks.
