.....srsly dude? Repeating what I say? THAT's your retort. I'm now very curious as to why you downgraded....makes no sense at all. "I know you are but what am I" has always been an extremely effective tool in debate across all forum. I'm perplexed as to why it hasn't worked for you here. Keep spreading you Baller knowledge...I'm sure the rest of us will catch up eventually.
People in the nba get paid the big bucks to make decisions everyone ASSUMES they're smart or the right decisions. If you know the game you just know the game no matter what kind of experience you have. Take away the money and the hype you'll see clearly that this game and the semantics of it is what it is. Kevin Mchale made mistakes today but that should be expected.
Rockets were the worst prepared team of the opening rounds...Sac looked great compared to Rockets. McHale a huge disappointment. It will be interesting to see the next few games...excuses just don't cut it.
Hey guess what? We are not going to win EVERY GAME regardless of what you 'think' the coach or players should have done. Get over it. You mutha *****s kill me with this dumb 'stuff' after every freakin game. Somebody has to start a thread about fire the coach, trade the player, tanking, all this nonsense after every freakin game. First game of the year and already THIS crap. Stupid.
lol, major knee jerk...first game of the season with barely any offseason practice....getting new players as well...KMchale needs to learn the lineups and rotations himself...the only major flub was when he had Scola at the 5...lol
The guy is a professional scorer. Proffesional scorers fit anywhere The guy is just soft and the attempted trade has messed with his head. Quit making excuses for the guy. He wasn't even hustling
Yeah, going small in the last 5 minutes was a terrible decision. We're down by ten, we're not trying to match baskets we needed stops. Where was the double team on Howard? Scola had no hope of stopping him by himself.
I'll add, there's not exceptional players in that group, as of now. So, it is difficult to figure out who needs more minutes and doesn't.
I can see what he was thinking with that small lineup. Hedo was killing this team all game long, and the Magic put him at PF, so McHale tried to match-up with Terrence Williams at PF. And Scola was out there at Center to work the pick and roll. Howard was aggressive protecting the paint, leaving Scola wide open for mid-range jumpers. It didn't work, obviously, but I can see what he was thinking there.
The only reason Kevin McHale was hired is because he agreed to be Darryl Morey`s yes man. He will eventually be fired within the next two years and be replaced with Chris Finch. In the words of Bart Scott: "Can`t Wait"
Seriously, shooters as good as Martin fit in ANY offense. Some offenses MIGHT use his skill set more than others, but EVERY team could use a guy like him. Lot's of points without a lot of shots.
Let's just keep both of these threads alive and revive the good one after we win and the bad one after we lose. McHale is a truly sucky genius!
Yes he did, but I think over the course of the year he will not be as productive as he was last year. But if he stays, then we need to move other pieces, CBud for example....we just have too many pieces and not enough playing time. DD
IDK, maybe. Pat is certainly better on the defensive end and proved to be reliable on the offensive end as well so I could see it. I think at least early on it might have as much to do with who is playing well and who had heavy minutes the previous night.
