    What a silly joke!

D'Antoni is completely shooting himself in the foot. They're basically playing the 4 corner offense and Melo gets the screen and either shoots or throws it to one of the corners for the 3-ball or possibly back to Tyson if his man doesn't get back. D'antoni? This is the most completely stupid offense I've ever seen. Goodness, I hope it continues.

Melo is a volume shooter and can score in bunches when he heats up but to me he is one of the lowest-impact star players in the league. He is not a smart basketball player and the Knicks have teamed him with another player in the same mold in Stoudamire.

What the Knicks need to overcome the glaring deficiencies of Amare and Melo is a stern coach that will keep them both in check and a PG that will make the decisions on the court and execute the plays.

Amare and Melo need to be finishers. They cannot be the creators if Knicks are going to contend for championships.

And yes, Melo playing point tells you how big of a moron D'Antoni is.

I laughed last week when I read this was the plan. I hope the Knicks keep D'Antoni as coach next season.

    D'antoni can't coach for jack.

Melo at point is laughable. The guy is a scorer and that's it.

    Their defense still sucks balls.

This is why I said signing Chandler was a bad idea. Knicks MUST have a long-term solution at PG to contend.

knicks need a new coach with a defense first mentality and a pg tha can distribute the ball.

Harlan and Reggie Miller bantering back and forth about Baron and SHumpert and who is going to be the starting PG. Reggie chirping about how they gonna do this and that. This after they interviewed Davis and he is talking all sorts of nonsense about this offense is tailor made for me, blah, blah, blah. Plum stupid.

The Knicks PG solution is on the roster already.

    Jeremy Lin be his name.

I guess D'Anatoni is another person who got paid because of Steve Nash.

Jalen Rose hated 'Antoni. Said he never talked about defense and his regular season rotations were airtight that the rest of the players felt like they were on the practice squad. He exhausted the starters by playoff time

sad thing is, they will finish right at .500 and get into the playoffs with the fifth seed.

Most people might take this post as a joke, but I think there is a lot of truth to it.

Stoudamire is actually a very efficient player. He could still put up a lot of points without as many touches as Anthony would need.

Iman Shumpert is gonna be their starting PG by the end of the season, he's got size and skill. Toney Douglas is a spot up shooter and "B-Diddy" is still a washed up blob.

What are you guys talking about when mentioning Stoudamire?

Did Salim or Damon join the Knicks and suddenly became stars?
I must watch more NYK games, damn.

D'Antoni is an idiot and NY is dumb for not letting him go last year.

Yeah, they're screwed. They need a distributor. The question is how do they get one:

Nash would be the perfect fit, but they have nothing to trade except draft picks from the next century and Landry Fields. If they trade Fields, then they'd have ONE player on the roster who's a competent defender. Although, their offense would be scary.
