Great win by the ROCKETS. Kevin Martin, Kyle Lowry, Samuel Dalembert, Luis Scola, Courtney Lee, Dragic, Thabeet played well. Go Rockets..

Lowry with 16-9-8 in 28 minutes. Now if he can put those same numbers up in 15 minutes, his PER will go through the roof!

Who needs wins and losses when you can have EFFICIENCY!

    :p

lol! Exactly what I expected. Win by a big margin. Someone posted in the game thread that we would kill them due to what the line in Vegas was doing. He was so right. I had $500 riding on this game and I almost never bet on the Rockets. If the public is super hard on a team playing us, we will win. A rested Rockets team at home beats an exhausted Spurs team 9 times out of 10.

So no surprise that we rocked them, but now queue the overreaction to the win, which I also knew would be following.

:maury crunching numbers on his IBM:

thabeet could have scored 48 points in 24 minutes!

great game by red nation. In the end, we will have a better record than some of those teams that the media strokes off to, like NY and clipps. If Dalembert keeps doing this, watch out fifth seed. The only thing I'm not liking is the bench. They're not playing as a unit yet. plenty of time for that though.

Can't wait till Patterson is ready to play so he can help Scola with some of the post scoring. Great game tonight though, Dalembert is really making a difference on the defensive end and who knows maybe Thabeet will get some significant playing time this season to further enhance our defense.

Probably because the starting line up isn't quite set in stone yet, and some players are hoping to move up from bench to starter?

Rockets looked good out there tonight. I think young legs will really make a huge difference in this shortened season and Rockets got a lot of them.

TWill only played around 7 mins up until the blowout/garbage time.

We saw Martin getting more shots off screens or as he was moving than last game. Their games might not fit.

Let's not get too excited, it was a nice start for him, something to grow on.

Great win. Now time to see what we've got these next two games. I think all the depth we have on this team will definitely pay off this year with the condensed schedule.

He's day to day. Anytime now.

Man, it was impressive how much of an improvement was made from Monday to tonight. The defense rotated and attacked. The offense played with a purpose, inside-out. Players knew where to be and when to get their shots. The Rockets ran and took advantage of a team playing a back-to-back. Perfect.

You can finally get a sense of what McHale's trying to do. I like it. A lot. And if the Rockets can make such vast adjustments in a little amount of time like they showed, well ... who knows what could happen.

I would still swap some starters and start Lee instead of Bud and Dalembert instead of Hill.

Either way, this is the type of game we all KNEW the Rockets were capable of given their roster. We just never thought we'd see it so soon. Kudos to McHale.

Missed the game. But man what a butt kicking. Parsons got some meaningful minutes.
