Just don't see Zach deferring to Rudy for very long. I think he's gonna blow up if he's not dominating the basketball. Will be interesting to see if they are able to win with Rudy taking the majority of the shots. Will be interesting to see how Zach responds if they win that way. Will be interesting to see how Zach responds if they start losing a lot with Rudy clogging the shot chart and limiting Zach's shots and touches.

You want a chemistry problem watch the Rockets as they try to figure out how to play 13 NBA rotation ready players.

Rudy is going to hurt that team. He plays his own system of chucking and no ball iq

LOL. There is potential for that, especially with the Rodman/Marbury personality we got on there.

Besides how well Z-Bo plays in general after his incredibly strong finish last year, this was my main reservation about the Grizzlies. But they have the whole season to figure things out.

Just wait until Morey decides NOT to extend any of the 09ers, watch how quickly the ones in the rotation go for a **** it mentality..

Well, the Grizzlies needed someone to take those shots last year. OKC just clogged the paint and dared Memphis to win the game from the outside.

More worrisome is their lack of depth

In a contract year? Unlikely... Your first post is right on point though...

Who the hell are you to say Hill or Williams are weakminded players?

Not everyone is Aaron Brooks who sulked there way out of the league.

Actually Brooks is a great example of a weak minded player, he let the contract situation force him to try to come back early, and sucked, then sulked.

However, he is not out of the league, he is finishing the year in China because FIBA rules do not allow him to come back, you want to bet that he gets picked up by an NBA team when he is eligible?

BTW - you are a weak minded persona on here, probably an indicator of being weak minded in real life too.

It's ok though, when both your peas finally drop you might be able to gain some understanding...so there is hope for you in about 10 years.

What makes you think Jordan Hill is a "me first" player?

I don't think he is right now, I believe that he is pretty fragile mentally, and once his contract is not extended (Morey's history) I think he will struggle playing under that circumstance.

Not everyone is mentally tough like Lowry and Scola.....JHill strikes me as a guy who is fairly sensitive, and Twill is EXTREMELY sensitive.

I could be wrong, but that is how I read it.

Even if they are weak minded, who's to say they're going to hurt their careers by doing something stupid. Both things do not go hand in hand.

Ah, that won't hurt their careers at all. I just think it will cost the Rockets wins...

They will be fine. It takes time to integrate Rudy into the fold b/c they played without him for so long. Rudy isn't a guy who likes to hog the ball.

Fans are so quick to judge after one game.
