This was actually an article about why you won't see Manny Harris (remember him?) on an NBA roster this season. But while I was reading it, I found something noteworthy about the FO.

    http://www.thepostgame.com/blog/tra...may-have-cost-nba-player-manny-harris-his-job

TL;DR: Manny Harris suffered a severe freezer burn on his feet when he used a space-age accelerated recovery machine. The article mentions that the Rockets (and Spurs) have actually gone out and purchased their own for $50K.

It's definitely minor but it at least shows that the organization is on the cutting edge when it comes to injury recovery.

FYI, so that Rockets players won't do what Harris did.

UK sports teams have been into this fad for several years now. They all go to this same facility in Poland and set up their training camps there.

I was watching a program on NBATV where Mark Cuban flew his whole team multiple times to a facility that did this. Dirk went the first time on his personal trainers recommendation, told the team about it and they used it as a team building exercise during the playoffs last year. During the Chicago series they went to a facility there, and another location here in texas that had one. I would imagine Cuban has also bought one by now.

The Rockets organization has been known to be on the cutting edge in a lot of aspects. Sucks that it doesn't produce results, though.
