That is why we went to IRAQ for 10 years. If this is true, it means the Bush administration and CIA is much more incompetent than we thought and that CIA should be dissolved.

Eric Dondero is an idiot. He is the butt of jokes amongst those in libertarian (even anti-Paul-libertarian) circles. I have had the misfortune of being in his company for a while, and I wouldn't trust the man as far as I can throw him (and my throwing arm is weaker than Leinart's).

Doesn't get much worse than that. When you're the butt of jokes made by people who are the butt of jokes for the rest of us, things are not going your way.

There is no laws specifically regarding getting into a fight with an Emirati. You would get caught for getting into a fight if someone reported it obviously. Then the police should show up and take both sides of the story. Then they decide what to do. It all really heavily depends on what you mean when you say you got into a fight.

I'll try to help out but my passport is actually currently bailing out a friend of mine who is in a drunk driving predicament. Send me an email through the board with your contact details.

Surprise. Some federal judges are nuts with their own personal agendas.

This is encouraging. The tide is turning against Isaeli abuse of the Palestinians.

Thank you Mathloom, I was only joking, it's nothing serious.

I did have a little issue - I was standing with my mother and my (handicapped) father in front of our hotel and they had called a taxi specifically for us. We had been waiting for a while, together with the hotel employees. Taxi shows up, this maybe 25-year old Emirati cuts in front of us and when the hotel employees said "These people have been waiting already", he angrily and aggressively said to the hotel employees "I WAS HERE FIRST. THEY HAVE TO WAIT. I HAVE AN EVENT" and kept rambling on about how he was already waiting first and "THESE PEOPLE HAVE TO WAIT." I was surprised and just said "Calm down dude". Then the guy totally flipped out and screamed "I WASN'T TALKING TO YOU!" So I said "Yeah, but I'm talking to you." Guy started screaming "KEEP YOUR COMMENTS TO YOURSELF" and got into a rage while entering the taxi and screamed "**** OFF" twice.

The hotel employees were embarrassed and said "we are very sorry about this" to me. I said don't worry and just got into the next taxi with my parents.

Not so cool story, bro - the end. :)

I was actually just wondering how neutral the police would be here if you actually got into an argument with an Emirati as a foreigner.

Two things I wonder about that:

    Would al-qaeda work with Shi'as?

If not was this some sort of plan by Iran? Provide funding for a massive terrorist attack, blame it on the Taliban, thus eliminating one of Iran's major rivals in the region?

al qaeda are sunni and iran is shiite, right? al qaeda are outspoken in the hatred of shiites and regularly carry out attacks against them in iraq. so why would they align themselves w/ iran?

Yes, this is true. Anyone who is saying Iran and Al-Qaeda were working together is spouting the biggest piece of bull&$^* ever. They hate each other and Iran was actively funding the Northern Alliance (the people who were fighting the Taliban in Afghanistan) for years. The Taliban also hated shias and slaughtered thousands of Hazara shias for no other reason other than the fact that they were shia...
