I followed both. I gave up okc, because really I am not a big fan of westbrook. My choices: twolves grizz clips kings pacers other than the kings, i could be a fan of any of those teams.
Really looking impressive, and to face up with westbrook as well. This could be an interesting year for the timberpups.
it is supposed to be locked in but I have made switch once before early in the season. I'm with Minnesota now and I requested a change to Sacramento. I only had one pick left but now I think I want to stick with Rick and Ricky. so I can close my ticket if I want but I contacted them anyway after I was auto enrolled, thinking I had cancelled. Houston NYK MIA OKC are my other four. the extra teams are a novelty. I won't really tune in to each one but I always like to follow potential Rookie of the Year candidates. i keep flip flopping on this whole LPBB thing regardless.
Jason Kidd was en route to the hall of fame and he could barely shoot when he was younger. Rubio can be like Kidd. Rondo can't shoot either but he routinely puts up gaudy numbers as well. Rubio is awesome, he's already one of my top 5 most exciting players to watch in the league.
That's a good comparison right there. Both of them about the same size. Very similar skill sets. Kidd singlehandedly drove those Nets teams to the Finals dishing out gravy to Jefferson and Kenyon Martin.
Here's what one of the finest basketball minds on this board said about Rubio in August, 2010... http://bbs.clutchfans.net/showpost.php?p=5532397&postcount=72
it's only one game but so far, I like what I see. I'm very curious to see what he does against a very good defensive team (Miami, Chicago) but he's off to a good start. He doesn't look lost out on the court, which is a great sign. TWolves will be definitely be good this year. Good for them.
Just an observation from the highlights, he doesn'y use his off hand much. He'll probably have to work on that or maybe it was just these highlights he didn't use his left hand.
he plays like steve nash a bit.except the scoring really.if he works on his offense he can be a great player no doubt
