Hightop, is there even a single position of Paul's that you disagree with? I can give you a list of things that I do not like about Obama, and you won't see me defending him on those things (I'm not sure if I've ever defended Obama on this forum actually). How about you, are you able to think critically when it comes to Paul?
I guess since Stormfront wants to end the drug war, they aren't a racist organization either. And I'll admit, the "some dude" defense is pretty funny. I'd love to use it in court. "Did you kill that woman?" "No" "Her head was in your backpack." "Some dude put it in there." "Who?" "I dunno."
I don't think there any racists who have had NAACP leaders personally vouch for them. Or have ran for President and suggested a black man as a good pick to be their VP...
I just came to this thread to say that I'm glad my cousin nellinder is still sticking up for Ron Paul.
Even if he penned them himself, the racist newsletters are like the 10th most troubling thing about Ron Paul's candidacy.
If I had my name attached to racist newsletters and had made comments similar to Ron Paul's, this would be true. This is awesome theater. The fact the GOP field is down to Romney, Gingrich and Paul (which really means just Romney) is a tribute to how sorry the Republicans are on a national basis. Obama should be a roast duck but he's going to be re-elected. Paulites remind me of cult followers who blindly close ranks.
Not even close. http://obamamessiah.blogspot.com/ <iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/pAlrSRVdKZY" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
Here's a perfect example of this: http://2012.talkingpointsmemo.com/2011/12/what-ron-paul-believes.php?ref=fpa Ron Paul's own website talks about numerous conspiracy theories. The newsletters are the best thing to happen to him, because as long as the media focuses on those, they don't ask about his ridiculous positions that are directly attributable to him.

Ron Paul has the worst PR I've ever seen, right down to his representative posters on this BBS. I like the guy enough, but damn, it's pretty much in spite of his movement.
This is a good article in the Huffington Post which you should read. As far back as 1988 it shows that Ron was criticizing the drug war for being against minorities.
The liberal "go to" racist charge is working well. Keep it up. New high for Ron Paul, gets 17.3% in national poll Romney 30.2% Gingrich 24.8% Paul 17.3% Bachmann 9.7% Perry 9.2% Santorum 4.5% Huntsman 4.4% Paul also leads nationally in certain votes: Paul 7.1% Gingrich 5.7% Romney 3.1% Bachmann 1.6% Santorum 1.1% Perry 1.1% Huntsman 0.8% not certain yet 79.5% http://images.politico.com/global/2011/12/emolink.html
said the guy who has to put "Obama is Muslim" in huge bold letters to get the attention he is whining for
ron paul was born in the wrong era. if he was born at the time of the founding fathers he would fit right in.
