This. If we ever do run out of excitement when our young players eventually hit some consistent performance level (although if players' have a Lowry-est improvement then I doubt we'll ever run out of things to look forward to), then at least we still have that 21 year old 7 footer who has so far played like he's a huge steal of the draft.
What was up with the small line up Mchale put in during the most crucial part of the game?? I blame the coach for this loss. Don't understand why he wont play Hill at the 4. Sammy D and Hill up front would give us a better rebounding advantage, and thats exactly what we needed during the crucial parts of the game last night.
You said it all for me, with the addition of Scola remaing solid. I was pleasantly surprised at how Hill looked, and the fact that it appeared that he frustrated D. Howard a few times. That made my day right there!
No, they didn't play because they are third best at their position. Unlike TBall, not everyone gets a chance to play.
I think the matchup between Hill and Turkeglu was the reasoning behind it. Dalembert was wiped out and not playable by that point. I admit I almost fell out of my chair when I realized that I was seeing Scola out there playing the C and not the PF, but thought he did...ok I guess, considering who he was guarding.
