PG Kyle Lowry *SG Courtney Lee *SF Terrence Williams PF Luis Scola C Samuel Dalembert * means changes The reason why i replaced K-Mart with Courtney Lee is because Kmart is not playin D and he surely isnt playing any offense. And Chase Budinger wasnt shooting well plus he was doing a very bad job defending Hedo Turkoglu. Hedo scored 19 in the 2nd half! I know this is the first game but I just dont see Martin changing. Terrence Williams just needs to improve his shot then he can be dangerous. Courtney Lee was impressive vs Magic
One game. Martin had a bad game but that doesn't mean he's gonna stay like this the rest of the season. Calm down.
If you bench K-Mart, you've just destroyed his trade value. And if he starts the season in a slump, that might happen anyway.
It's really 3 games and all games he's missed some wide open shots... This is what i'm worried about...when Martin was unhappy in Sactown he started to look like this as well...is this the same thing that is happening? If so we need to know this, trade him ASAP before he loses any more value.
god you sound like an idiot..its been ONE FREAKING GAME. I can't wait when T-Will has an 0-10 shooting night and throws the ball away 10 times. I hope you lead the thread charge with a new starting 5 benching T-Will. Maybe the Lakers should bench Kobe the next time he scores under 10. I mean the logic that goes on this board sometimes is maddening! Yes Kevin Martin had a bad game and played bad defense. But the guy averaged 20 points a game last year! So lets obviously bench him in a new system, new coach and after one game. Of course he will play this way EVERY GAME no doubt. Chase played bad D and didn't score much. BENCH HIM! Of course, makes perfect sense...he after all provided a huge offensive lift in the second half of the season including a 30+ game showing great scoring potential. Would he be better off providing a scoring punch off the bench? Maybe...but let the coaches figure out what they have first before making these knee-jerk reactions. (geez..the complaining about bud sounds like the beginning of last year all over again..then he proved most people wrong and all the haters shut up. Now they are back! Yay). Sometimes I feel like these posters lack complete common sense and defy logic most of the time. The Rockets have practiced for 2 weeks. They have a new coach. Mchale has to figure out who his players are first and what they are capable of. The Rockets were great the second half of last season and with the addition of a defensive presence in the middle, we can only get better. I mean the Lakers, Mavericks, and Celtics all lost their first game. Bench Kobe! Bench Dirk! Bench Garnett... aaaaaaaargh
Stopped reading there. I assume you are a proponent of tanking. Hey, I don't mind tanking. If there's a season to do it, it's this season. If not, tell me what does that team do exceptionally well? With Martin, Lowry, and Scola starting you have 3 guys who can score 20 on any given night. The line up you suggested doesn't do much of anything.
1 REGULAR SEASON GAME. Preseason doesn't count. Terrance Williams could have shot 100% in the preaseason and go 0-10 in the first game. Doesn't prove anything.
I dont think you should change your staring line up after one game. I personally like to see the starting line of C-Samuel Dalembert PF-Luis Scola SF-Terence Williams SG-Kevin Martin PG-Kyle Lowry Back up should be C-Jordan Hill or Hasheem Thabeet (give him 10 mins per game) PF-Patrick Patterson SF-Chase Budinger or Marcus Morris SG-Courtney Lee PG-Goran Dragic
