It's nice that you guys are modding your phones. One of the reasons why I got the nexus so I would't have to anymore but there are definitely some mods that take this phone to another level. Very nice indeed. Curious as to what cases you guys are using. I got the extended battery for the phone but I have yet to find a good looking functional case for it.
The mods I'm using are now implemented in the Rootzboat ROM. Only work for 4.0.3 roms, not 4.0.2 unfortunately.
Cool thing about the Nexus is that even if you don't root it, the phone is still nice. If you do root, that's nice too lol No extended battery for me, but maybe I should get one. Here is another MOD that's pretty neat.

Btw, a heads up to anyone who is using Google Wallet. If you plan on rooting, flashing, etc. DO NOT continue to use Google Wallet. Also, if for some reason you need to wipe your device and you're on stock, do not use it anymore. It works for most but there are reports of failed authentications against Google's servers and it will bork your secure element in your NFC Chip. Now before you panic if you did install Google Wallet, if your phone is working fine right now, you're okay I would just recommend uninstalling it until someone can figure out how to unlock the secure element in our phones. (It's encrypted and is not part of the Android OS)

So... have yall made any conclusive progress on the battery life situation? Thinking about buying this weekend, but if the phone can't last all day then I'll have to think twice.
my real life usage may differ from others in houston since i live in galveston.. we get zero 4g coverage (supposedly soon). running the axiom rom with an extended batt on 3g except for when i'm in houston.
