He pushes the ball and controls it very well. Doesn't get that many turnovers and makes a lot of hustle plays. No he's not Chris Paul where he can put up 20 assists and 20 points a game. But he's going to a huge upgrade over Chalmers. Very unselfish; very smart.
Actually, no, you're right. Cole is more likely a better shooting Rondo rather than a guy that had a few good stretches but overall played rather averagely.
^this. If it just solely on box score, then Toney Douglas' stats don't look too bad even though he was awful and stalled the Knick's offense.
You said that Cole doesn't turn the ball over yet the box score shows otherwise. I do agree, however, that he is a huge upgrade over Chalmers, who excels as a backup PG. Tangent, I liked Iman Shumpert of the Knicks, but nobody else seems to be of the same opinion. I thought he gave them an extra dimension as a scorer at the PG position. Poor kid tore his MCL today though.
I guess I just overreacted at the calm collected nature of Norris Cole's game. Dude looked experienced. Iman, I'm not so sure about. He has is ups and downs; ultimately everyone will need a full season of watching him to get a good read on him.
