Nice to see some ex-Rocket scrubs making a difference in this game in Cook and Smith! After the Rockets, the Clippers might be my favorite team. They haven't played well tonight but they should be in the top 4 in the West.
It seems like the ESPN crew is going to miss Marc Jackson being there. Who's replacing him? Jon Barry? (he doesn't sound like him to me) whoever it is, he's up to a very low start there.
NVM, I saw it's Mullin, my first impression is that he's kind of dull. I would love to have Brent Barry alongside Breen and JVG.
Chris Paul can easily put up 25+ points a game if he wanted to. The guy is too unselfish. Dude is money with that jumper.
CP3 with three straight daggers to end any suspense. Warriors have no chance of winning when both Ellis and Curry are terrible.
That is why you make that trade, Paul is a SUPERSTAR, what a 4th period for him, he has really improved his midrange. Last year the Clips would have lost that game by a lot. This year because of him, his calm play and leadership they are able to win. Great addition. And btw what an opening night. STARS taking over!
cue the guy who rants about chuck's 1.whatever charges makes him a better rim protector than a shotblocker.
hasn't worked with trades so maybe we should just tank it and try with Draft? Because you see why you need stars, this entire day proves that
i like what they did with the shot clock. added the tenths place to it. makes it more exciting for some reason
As our own JVG said, it is pretty damn nice when you can give the ball to your PG near the end of the game and it never leaves his hands except when it is going through the basket. Paul with some clutchness, especially on that last shot right as the shot clock was winding down.
