there's nothing more that I despise than the stop snitching mentality of urban life and street gangs.

 

uh, we don't know if it was a mother, a sister, niece, cousin or aunt. All we know is it was a female family member. And the punks can probably figure it out from Facebook friends list, now that the cops told them as much.

Cops never should have said anything. If the woman didn't want to be anonymous, she would have confronted the boy herself and made him turn himself in.

It's not the nephew I'd be worried about... it's the others and their friends/relatives. And they don't need to kill the person who snitched... they can make her life hell without necessarily harming her physically.

 

Wouldn't the the guy that posted the pictures on the internet and ratted out his friends to the world, be a snitch? He can't claim that he isn't a snitch, if he is ratting out everybody on facebook with photographic evidence.

When I was little (like under 7) I used to steal chocolate bars from a supermarket, slip them in my shirt and the bulges would show. Got out and shared it with my buddies. A friend snitched to his parents and he got beat by his dad.
