[Video] Blake Griffin - 30 Points Vs Lakers (12.21.11)

I remember the Brand days and look back on them fondly. As far as this Clippers team is concerned, I'm just glad that Lawler and Smith finally have something to talk about. I always liked those guys as commentators but it would always be sad when they'd just go off on irrelevant tangents and you just know it's because it's... well... the Clippers.

In regards to the video however, wow. This guy is my new favorite player. Last year all I saw from him were dunk highlights, but seeing this guys handles... just amazing. He can literally do it all on offense.

 

That would be the biggest mistake in Clipers' history. I love Dwight but Blake is gonna be BETTER.

 

I'm ready to say it: Best player in the league. Better than LeBron.

Matt Barnes is a really bitter, sad player.

 

Getting Chauncey Billups on that team was really an underrated move. He brings veteran leadership to a young core. The Clippers are going to be very dangerous this year. I'm definitely watching them.

 

The talent is unbelievable. This team can go to the WCF if he reaches top 5 status this year.

 

You know, every time I see the lead up to a highlight dunk against the classless Lakers I always wonder when someone like Barnes or Bynum is gonna try to hurt the defenseless player in the air. Barnes had a chance at 3:30 in the video but didn't take it, probably because it's preseason. But what if it's a blowout game in the playoffs?

I'm glad CP3 wasn't traded there, because the Lakers deserve nothing.

 

Nice display of athleticism. Not too much iso during game time proper though.

 

Better? Griffin just finished his first NBA season. Can his legs take 6 seasons more without giving out?

If DH said he's willing to sign a contract extension I'd trade BG for DH anyday.

Its not like BG put the Clips in contention last year.

Slow down there. BG is my favorite non-rocket but a high-light reel from one pre-season game isnt enough to propel him to best in the game. Reminds me of when VC was on the Raptors and talking play-offs. Immediately, the North Carolina/insane hops comparisons to MJ came. We all know how that story ends.

I hope BG punks Lebron and the Heat everytime they meet. I hope the Clips win it all this year. I wanna see Lebron, Wade and Douche cry.
