    Jordan special releases.
    Many want to collect and/or flip these for profit.
    Shoes like these (well not these specifically) go for 500-2000 on ebay.
    They are really limited.

    I tried my arse off tonight to get them.

    Had it in my cart a few times but kept timing out. I started 10 minutes after Midnight Eastern. That was my mistake.

    Could have easily sold a second pair for almost double to get my pair for basically free.

    Lol good luck wth that. They'll be long gone by then. Hence the long lines. You think people would line up if they could just get them the next morning? Couldn't even snag them online this time. All the sites I tried kept locking up.

    They should do online only for these early releases. It would save a bunch of people the trouble of staying out in the cold and it would also keep people alive

    Reminds me of a funny story. I went to a majority black high school so the Jordan shoe release date was like a federal holiday. The next day a girl came in and she had her J's on. After the first period bell rang she pulled out two plastic grocery bags from her backpack and wrapped up each shoe. She would then walk to her next class and then remove her grocery bags till the next bell rang. It was so funny seeing this girl walk between classes with grocery bags on her feet.

    Yup not even worth it and this is coming from a big sneaker head. I know of one person who got killed for them and another who got robbed at gunpoint coming out of the mall. Sad
