    Anything can happen this season

You forgot Lakers, Mavs, Spurs are aging.
A lot of back to backs should favor us, Wolves, Kings, Warriors, Nuggs

You are delusional my friend IF you think Randolph and Gasol are much better than a Luis Scola, Hill and Sam combo

We have an edge in depth and I think Patterson and Jordan Hill are better athletes than Randolph by far

Yeah honestly the grizz do look better on paper, but the rockets squad is smarter than theirs and always seem to pull out a win against them.

I think the Grizz can rebound and score but we are much better athletes.
Heck did you watch Samuel the 30 year old throwing it down.
    The guy is athletic.

Plus, Kobe is out for 3-4 weeks, so you can pull the Lakers down a few spots.

Of course until you are a Grizzfan, I am a fan of this team.
And the experts have the Nuggets at the 2 spot. I don't see us far behind and I believe we have even better talents, size than the Nuggets.

Wooooow... really? Were more athletic than the Grizz...

Im willing to bet if we can trade Sammy D for Gasol we would do it in a heart beat. Im fairly certain we would trade in Scola for ZBo as well.

Alright. Challenge ACCEPTED. First check Sam and Marc's block numbers.
    Sam is the veteran here.

Lol, I bet you were one of those that pulled out the pom poms when we got Stromile Swift. That kind of "athleticism" and "depth" is worthless... moreso in a shortened season. I say start planning for 2012-2013, this season was done before it started.

I think the challenge is to find the underrated players that didn't do well in a particular environment or system and will do well under our system or environment. Who was Zach Randolph before he was traded to the Grizzlies? he was a Knicks player that was widely regarded as an over the hill and overweight player under the right environment (coaches, players and staff) and with the right motivation and desire he transformed himself into an all star caliber player.

Sometimes, the right fit is just as important as the right talent.

Nice little stat... though I would argue our team was better the last couple seasons. I suspect losing Shane Battier (and others) will soon show in the W/L column

Zbo was an allstar on the jailblazers. The talent was always there. How many allstar appearances do Scola and Dalembert have combined?

Don't know if I agree with all that. I definitely like Kyle more than Conley. Dalembert is unquestionably a better rebounder, shot blocker and gets up and down the floor better than Gasol. Gasol however, is bigger and a better option on offense.

What that picture does not show is what kind of teams they are when they get to the bench? I think the Rockets are going to have a very good bench with Lee, TWill, Dragic, PPat, Hill and Morris. Will the Grizz be able to match that? I don't know.
